Contrary to what you said, day6 is actually HUGE in korea and they have a large amount of international fans too. if ur talking about korean bands they are 100% the biggest band in korea.

youngk endured a lot keeping day6s name until the others came back from military so hes just that happy also to be performing with his band again
Funny with Youngk he mentioned that he really had to work on looking more approachable/friendly throughout the years because he basically had rbf lol and found that in this industry he needed to look more “loveable”
i think you should start deep diving on their discography now 😭 the songs they performed at killing voice is only the tip of the iceburg
Everyone's vocals has their own color in this group yet they are so harmonious and not overpowering each other, this makes their songs more enjoyable for me 🧚

Day6 has always great discography you should check all of them. You make me and Hi Hello are also some of my fav. but sadly they weren't perform it on killing voice.
Yeap All of their voices are so great and unique. Also the Lyrics are always meaningful and sweet. They are definitely one of my fav K-pop groups
Young K is probably one of the most talented k artists… he can play all sorts of instruments… song writer, music composer a literal dancing machine, a really really good singer, multilingual, radio host, a really good rapper… probably has more talents but so humble

Hi! with Day6 I always recommend watching their live performances instead of the mvs but reading the lyrics is also very important since they write their own songs :) there’s just something special about it. I do love their School trilogy mvs tho (what can i do, I loved you and when you loved someone) which they did not sing here.

Their bassist - Young K is the main lyricist of the group, he wrote almost all their songs. He also a solo artist and radio DJ. A lot of popular K-pop Idols/artists are Young K fans! I`d advise you to check his cover-project - "YOUNG ONE", there`s a lot of English songs (btw he is fluent in it). My fav: "Love Me Less" (Max, Quinn Xcii cover), "What Am I" (Why Don't We cover), "Last Call" (Hudson Thames cover), "Like A Star" (Corinne Bailey Rae cover), "What A Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong cover)

Day6 deserve a lot, I think Koreans aren’t very fan of bands in general so a lot of foreign people discovered them and love them, but You’re were Beautiful (that you noticed in the video because of Wonpil’s voyels) then Zombie in 2020 were a success, and the general public in Korea made them a lot more famous at this moment. But I’m very happy you decided to listen to them because, as you said, their live performances are something.

If you have time maybe you can do a deep dive on day6's discography! ALL ALBUMS ARE NO SKIP. From January-December 2017 they had this what they called Everyday6 project where they released 2 songs (1 MV) each month and all songs are bop. Although I would also recommend their first and second album.

Would be really great to see more DAY6 reactions by you! Song list here is amazing indeed, but there are some recommendations I'd like to leave: "I need somebody", "You Make Me" and the so called school drama trilogy - "What can I do", "I loved you", "When you love someone" (these three MVs are best watched one after the other in this exact order as they form a single story line). Also, I feel like you'll enjoy the lyrics of most of their songs, because they usually convey a powerful message or tell a compelling story using pretty simple words. It makes it easy for people to relate to the songs
Day6 is truly amazing!! You should try and react to another Kband under JYPE Xdinary Heroes. Contrary to Day6 they have more powerful and interesting sounding songs!!
