How to Identify an Ash Tree

Helpful info! I try to learn about the bark patterns to identify trees in the winter when the sap is down(for harvesting).
I wreckon I lost my Ash years ago...

don't know what ash borer is but I love ash trees. we have one on our side yard that's been there for hundreds of years maybe even thousands

Emerald ash bore is a bug that is destroying every single ash tree in its path. It's starred on the east coast as has made its way to Tennessee.

Frank Of the filth yeah when I was a kid we where at this tree place and we where planing on getting a tree we where by it and I started getting itchy and shortness of breath and I kept sneezing and when we went home the rash got worst and I had to go to the doctor for allergies and they said yep she is allergic and I’m allergic mosquitoes
