You assume Rockstar operates at the whim of the gamer. Also if you haven't noticed their games are successful before they ever get to the online component. Online has released months after the initial release well in the "dead" period of a games first year. They are smart and also their quality allows them these smart moves. Do you actually think they haven't been working on it?? Rest assured they are, Rockstar never does a long announcement to release window. Unlike CDPR you can trust that the game will release when it's actually finished, It wont be announced until play testing is wellllll under way with a very content complete and mostly balanced build of the game. This is the Rockstar way.
