The beautiful thing about that new chapter, we finally got to see tanjiro and nezuko mourn not only the death of their end family but everything they’ve been through. Neither of them had a chance pause and feel. Watching them both get the chance to cry and let it out was really beautiful.
I figured the first ending was a little rushed, I’m glad that the croc was able to go back and make a proper one. Demon slayer really knows how to get the emotions going, it’s gotta a nice balance of somber sadness but also joy that warms your heart
It is not a new ending, it is the original completed ending but the version on the internet lacked around 30 pages, so it was only available in the last vol (vol 23) which was released in Japan in Dec last year.

Dang I'm crying the perfect ending to a great series and such a beautiful message that Gotoge sense taught with it, life isn't about being perfect but merely of living it the fullest and embracing and appreciating every moment as a real man that makes me cry. Also zenitsus natural hair color was black it only became yellow as a result of a magic lighting bolt hitting him and he survived it so he gained it's power causing the yellow hair.
They started off with losing their family and struggling but soon found peace and comfort with a new family of friends they found and a family of their own. Amazing, just amazing. :))

I for one can say that I absolutely did not like the original ending to the manga when it first came around for several issues. One of the Biggest issues I had was the sudden dumping of the OG cast to move onto their descendants. However now with this extra chapter/ new ending it finally gives the story the neat little bow that it deserves. Brought it up to a 10/10 for me absolutely love Demon Slayer now
The chapter was in 3 parts so if I'm not wrong; the first part is supposed to be connected to the end of ch 204, the 2nd part is the start of ch 205, and the 3rd part is connected at the end of ch 205. And the rest are extra pages with info. I just wanted to confirm this so that I can feel completely satisfied with the ending cause it was beautiful.
I lowkey liked the previous ending but it left me feeling empty……this ending was even better tho!!!! I loved the wrap up and words used and I legit felt emotional seeing giyu smile and walking peacefully. That ending was AMAZING that’s how it should be done
From what I heard about the ending, it was basically another person finding the tree and it’ll most likely start the cycle of Titans again, making Eren’s sacrifice useless, but I think it makes sense with the theme of AOT, that humans are just terrible and complex, and that they’ll always mess things up and need to fix it again so I think it’s a fitting ending. But at least the last of the cadets lived a good life before the cycle started again.
I thought the kid finding the tree again was kinda cool. My problem was the Jean and Mikasa pairing and Mikasa "being free of Eren" but still gets buried next to him and not her husband lmao

I relate the most to Giyu out of any other character in Demon Slayer and part of the reason I read the manga aside from the great storytelling was because I was just hoping he wouldn't die during the final battle lol I was so ecstatic he survived and seeing him smile when he was with Urokodaki, Tanjiro, and Nezuko, and then smile again among the cherry blossoms at the end made me cry 😭💕

To be fair, I wouldn't really call it a "new" ending since these pages were pulled straight out of the manga during its weekly run, so it's always been there with the release of volume 23.
