But , when he went to the hospital in 2019 & found out he had cancer he called me. I went but didn't stay long cause this itch & her kids were there & was calling this Mofo dad. Again, I was out and haven't spoken to him since. Mind you I have an older brother that's his and he has kids by 4 women & he ain't been isshh to them either. And, bad as it is... I grew up in Miami, as a child, and I also lived in Jacksonville recently as an adult. I don't know bears to be native to south Florida. However, I know black bears are rampant in North Florida, Q.
I recently found this show and have been enjoying it. As a child of abandonment and a Life Coach I can say that it is a primal need to be connected to your parents as your survival as a child depends on it. But through my own journey, what I've found is, that the best way to heal is to allow yourself to feel and experience the deep sense of loss and pain that it creates. That will show you what need was not satisfied by that connection, or lack thereof, so that you can find other people in your present life than can provide that for you. Honestly, I don't think that wound ever heals completely. But you can get to a point in your life where you feel sadness about it without it driving you to make unhealthy choices, especially when it comes to romantic partners.

It is a natural state of being to wonder, wish and question why one may have been denied by a loved one. We are Whole beings made up of two. One that is missing a part of one's WHOLENESS, may nurture the empty side of one's self❤ but this comment is to express to those who are nurturing the missing part... Think of this, if that missing part is missing because it may be very broken and not passed away, then think of all the brokenness that may have 'Missed you' due to the missing ones absence, and this doesn't take the pain away as much as it makes things more palpable for one, as well as a porthole for one to move further on. I lost my mom a little over two years ago and as Q said, I still have those moments where I wish I could talk to her. Regarding your father I would just leave the situation alone & if you can, keep him in your prayers. Just remember that forgiveness is for you and not for the other person. Hang in there. 💞

I recently found this show and have been enjoying it. As a child of abandonment and a Life Coach I can say that it is a primal need to be connected to your parents as your survival as a child depends on it. But through my own journey, what I've found is, that the best way to heal is to allow yourself to feel and experience the deep sense of loss and pain that it creates. That will show you what need was not satisfied by that connection, or lack thereof, so that you can find other people in your present life than can provide that for you. Honestly, I don't think that wound ever heals completely. But you can get to a point in your life where you feel sadness about it without it driving you to make unhealthy choices, especially when it comes to romantic partners.

Claudia and Q, I feel y'all on feeling the absence, abandonment.... luckily, I repaired the damage between my Dad and I before he passed, but my Mom just passed in April and I buried her a day before my birthday....most things remind me of her, even seeing Big Daddy Kane performing her favorite song, I Get the Job Done, tears fall at random times

Claudia you look absolutely beautiful and I'm so sorry you are going through this with your father. My parents are deceased and I can say it is very difficult. I lost my mom a little over two years ago and as Q said, I still have those moments where I wish I could talk to her. Regarding your father I would just leave the situation alone & if you can, keep him in your prayers. Just remember that forgiveness is for you and not for the other person. Hang in there. 💞

These girls parents took in DeWayne and Juan partly because they knew they had basketball skills! One thing about life, you’ll grow and sometimes you can and will outgrow a partner. Nooone has an obligation to stay in a relationship that doesn’t serve them well!

Love you Claudia. Counseling has helped me tremendously. From my experience allowing myself be extremely vulnerable with my parents and viewing them from the lens of being a human with their own life experiences instead of being just my parents helped me ALOT.
