Okay but that 1st graphic tee is freaking sick 🔥🔥 I’d cop that so quick
I really like the shirt Chris is wearing
Man what a great little change of content. Felt like a cool science class, for magic. Really dope.
“These tiny little crystals…. Are not drugs!” Lol idk why I laughed so hard at that. Great video chris
"Last night I bought...drugs..." that sent me lmaooo
That was so fun to watch. As a Hobbyist who got in to card magic/sleight of hand 18 mos ago-- I know how crazy skillful you are with a deck of cards-- one of the best. But these types of videos are so fascinating--You are a very well rounded man CR !!!!!! Thanks for making my morning better!!!!!
6:50 I don't know why it feels satisfying with how he talked about Lee's upside-down eyes.
3:19 that’s what they all say 🤨
Love the vid and congrats on the live shows!
Two questions, where did you get that awesome shirt? And will you be attending the cardistry con this year?
The magnet falls slower in the pipe because of eddy currents that generate magnetic fields that opposes its weight ( weight being the force gravity exerts on an object )
Yo this tour of yours looks amazing!! Will you be recording it at all for people that cant make it? I'd be happy to pay for a DVD or a download or something
I think its on SMA
Wow I didn't know you were that guy. I've watched a ton of your puzzle solving videos and didn't know you were the big trick energy guy. That's dope!
I like the gimmick you “blow up” inside the bottle allowing a toothpick to go thru and then examined. Old kids blowing bubbles toy used with some shady smelling compound lol.
Haha love the new style content 👌 the humour humour f****n jokes 🤣🤣🤣 got me to literally lol on a packed train. I looked like a right fool 🤣 do more of thiss 👏🏽🤩
Loving the tour!! Looks like it'll be great! It's like Impractical Jokers but with magic!!
Loved it! Back to a bit of magic it was nice to see 😁 made my day chris
The awkward energy in this video is just 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
And as always, great video man 🤟🏼🤟🏼
The magnet through the tube is so much more interesting than covered here. One of the interesting things is that the tube is aluminum, which is _not_ magnetic. The magnet will not stick to the aluminum tube, for example. However, the electrons in the aluminum tube experience a changing magnetic field as the magnet moves through it (e.g., electrons in the middle of the tube experience a very small magnetic field when the magnet is at the top of the tube, but that magnetic field grows as the magnet approaches the middle of the tube). A changing magnetic field will cause electrically charged particles (like electrons) to move -- this is called an Eddy current. However, moving charged particles also create their own magnetic field (that's why electromagnets work, for example). The magnetic field created by the moving electrons always opposes the change in the magnetic field that caused the electrons to move. So, the changing magnetic field caused by the moving magnet induces Eddy currents in the aluminum tube, and those currents create another magnetic field that opposes the movement of the magnet. The two magnetic fields attract one another causing a non-magnetic aluminum tube to slow the motion of the magnet moving through it. Just in case someone wanted to know more...
and this effect is knon as lenz law.
Once you said for example, that was to much science for me lol but thank yoy
Love the science and magic combined. Thank you.
Love all your videos man, can we get some cardisty/card trick tutorial videos again?
Now lets see a Scientist use Magic to explain what's going on!
I love that shirt. Holy smokes, the design is fire
What a great video concept. Thanks for sharing.
Must be so fun to have irl magician friends
Well that was a treat! Magic, science, and comedy? Sheeeeit. You go, Chris!
FUN
SCIENCE
of
MAGIC
Oh, fun with the science of magic
Loved this! Why did I laugh so hard when you said you perchased meth? 😂
realy nice video i had fun to watch it. it would be cool if you could show some parts of other magichian chowing this trics on stage would be really interesting. maybe for next time.
Chris Ramsay could be the next Mr Wizard
Really enjoyed watching that. Fun while learning - what's not to love? 🤘
Greattttt one..Loved it bro!
Tour looks dope love the name
just a note the magnet doesnt go slow because it is attracted to the sides of the tube. it goes slow because when an magnetic object has speed, the magnetic feild of the tube creates a force opposite to the speed of the object (in this F=-quB)
Aweosme how you've giving us the inside here, I've been doing this for awhile, no where near as long as you but its Really cool that where watching you like just two magician's talking.
Chris you should check out something called Iodine Clocks. Liquid literally changes color in an instant. There’s MANY magic applications to that, though, I’ll say it takes a bit of a setup from a chemistry standpoint point. You can make them with readily available things though
What is magic, but science applied in the most artistic form? I think this is a great point of view in both magic and science. Good on you, Chris. Love the anime girl doing cardistry. I may get one!
Now I want an anime where the magicians do magic tricks. No fantasy world or combat. Just magicians from the real world fighting to become the greatest magicians of all time.
@@GamingNationshm then I recommend you to watch Magic Kaito 1412
@@camiloiribarren1450 Thanks bro. One more for my list.
@@GamingNationshm welcome
I was coerced to come watch this video on Chris's Instagram stories, so here I am!
this was awesome thank you!!!
Hi Chris! I'm a fan from the Philippines and love the videos man!
I just bought tickets to your show in Calgary! Awesome!!
There was a fun kind of awkwardness in this video. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but good stuff!
It felt like there were more people behind the camera
I'm finding it hard to concentrate after seeing the IG pic of you in your socks and drawers lol (Happy for y'all's tour! Waiting patiently until y'all can get to the US!)
so much deadpan in this one. I appreciate it :P
you talked me into it at the end.
The face at the end 😂
Hey Chris, great videos. I was wondering if you could help me with a trick. Say I was playing a friendly game of poker and I have 2 cards faced down. If I square them up together, how can I get the bottom card to flip over so that both faces are sandwiched together and it looks double backed so that I can essentially troll the other player by asking them if they want to see one of my cards, lift up my 2 faced down cards, revealing another backed card on the bottom to the other player. Is this possible? Thanks!
"The index of refraction which means the index at which they refract..." explanation of the year by Chris Ramsay 3:41
I love magic and I know a bit of science due to my bachelor in Biomedical Engineering. I did not learn nothing new.. But you got me with that leave the like ahaha!
Love your contents
I love you even more now that I know you're Canadian, Quebec City here :)
ooooh got that cool board in the back ground!
love the t-shirt ! it looks cool !
Wish I got taught this in school :(
ALMOST CLOSE TO 6 MILLION LESGOO
Amazing 😍❤️ Love from Sri Lanka⚡️
Well enjoyed
Thank you
Man I found your channel recently and just got addicted to watch all those cool stuffs. I can literally watch the videos on your channel for ours. Thanks Chris, I think it's time for me to work on a new hobby. Love from India.✌️🇮🇳
“I’m a grown child” 😂 hahaha same
Hey Chris actually that's not the magnet weight...
It's due to Lorentz force
It is taking more time.
👍Loved the vid
Super funny 👍🏼😂
Chris, I bet you could go to some of those puzzle rooms and win in a few minutes!
Love the shirt!
I rememberbleaching those back in middle school summer camp magic class 30 years ago was so much dun
The technical term is called adhesion at 13:30. thanks for this nice entertainingly vid and have a nice weekend! Greetings from Germany
this video was fun, i liked it 👍
Gotta love science class.
Ooo, ok the first one, at work we have these crystal things you add water to and they become squishy things we give the crickets. (They get water with less chance of drowning). If you add enough water, the squishy water chunks turn “invisible” and it’s fun to play with.
(I commented before watching the explanation lol)
The magnet creates eddy currents the the diamagnetic aluminum tube which opposes its magnetic field, creating a force against the magnet's falling motion.
I have a question
Does the game series "The Room" have anything to do with your passion for box-type puzzles?
I’m sad that you aren’t coming to the US. I’d love to come see y’all! Please keep us updated on if/when you come to the US especially Texas lol
9:00 It's not the weight of the magnet. Actually what is happening is as the magnet passes through the metal, it is inducing an electrical current in the metal of the tube. This electrical current flowing in the tube generates an opposing Electromagnetic field. This opposing magnetic field is what prevents the magnet from moving forward at a high rate. They eventually find an equilibrium due to energy losses when converting the kinetic energy to electrical energy and then back to kinetic, that the magnet will continue to drop but at a reduced rate.
Get VISASSSSSSSS! You'd literally be the only magician I'd want to see live! Please come to the States!
Really fun video. Really like it
6:52 Lee has an exclamation mark confirmed!
Cool video, kinda reminds me how teller makes a tank full of fish or coins with swish of water. I'll never be able to figure that one out.
You lucky Canadians . Wish it was an international show .
AH MAN!!! If only you were coming to the east coast!! Next time put scotiabank center in halifax NS on your tour dates!.....please and thank you xx
BAG OF CRYSTAL METH... NOSTALGIA 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 HEISENBERG 😎🥵
Great stuff
you should consider doing a science class! Those would make school so much more fun!
Yeah! Science!
Chris is Cool ! I love it !
“Big trick energy” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Everytime I watch one of your videos Chris, I have to remind myself that I don’t hate you because you aren’t actually Keemstar. Love your channel mate, greetings from the UK.
That's pretty awesome.
If you guys ever do Montreal, I'm in!
Nice Chris, the magic never died. Who else here from his Insta
If possible can you and your friends come over to the UK for tours?
You plan on visiting Europe at some point in time with a magic tour show? Would be awesome imo!
It was fun, thank you.
Oh no! The secrets of science revealed
Hi! Where are you finde this amazing things? About 90% I never heard!
That is a epic advertisement or trailer
I love science Chris
At 8:40 the explanation Chris gave was quite vague. Basically the tube he's dropping the magnet through is aluminum, and a similar phenomenon is used as brakes on rollercoasters. The magnet creates small electrical currents in the metal which creates a magnetic field, and that causes the magnet to slow down, but not stop moving.
Where is that shirt from? It’s so dope
Check your science on the tube and magnet... very cool concept
Yo Chris where did u get your shirt?
Well now I got to go and get a new eye😂
That was neat
The "B" in ICEBOX isn't symmetrical though. If you look closely, the upper loop is a little smaller than the bottom loop.
Bill Nye/Chris Ramsay crossover when??
