Duane Won The U.S. National Aerobatic Championship At Least Once, and Was Team Captain For ? Years... In Aug of 1963 Duane and Judy Lost Their Son,,, Roddy Cole... Roddy Was My Age,,, Very Sad Deal... Roddy Was Killed In a Stearman That Had a Prop Failure... He Lost The Prop Tip,,, Then The Vibration From The Engine Pulled The Engine Out of The Stearman, Off It's Mounts... Then It Twisted and "Fell" Thru The Right Wing Panel, Tearing The Wing Off... Roddy Got Out of The "Back Hole",,, and Climbed Up Front, and Tried To Help His "Friend" Get Out of The "Front Hole"... Roddy Waited a Second To Long Before He Stepped Off The Wing,,, As The Ground Was Rushing Up... He Pulled His Chute,,, It "Streamed",,, But It Didn't Fully Deploy... What entry speeds do you use for the maneuvers in the video?
Hey Scott, Between 100-110 for rolls and 115-120 for loops seemed to be the sweet spot
What engine and cruise speed are you getting, with the clipped wings.
It's running a C-85 with a 7144 climb prop, on average at 2400 rpm it'll cruise between 90-95mph
