    There is an amazing dynamic created by the way Tony and Chelsea each seem to know just when to let the other take the lead on this channel. The audience reaps the benefits of two very distinct styles of two extremely skilled photographers/educators. Sets it apart from all the other photography channels.

    Chelsea and Tony,
    Many thanks for all the great tips, tricks, and effort to bring them to us, the unwashed, washed out, masses. I use Corel Painter to play around with impressionistic artistry. But, also, am constantly learning from folks like you about other software and its applications. Chelsea needs to keep a journal about her journey into photo artistry and then make a few episodes on her discoveries; wrong turns, stubbed toes, and all.
    And Tony, your expose' on sensor size and how to correctly compare aperture as well focal length was just great. Between the two of you, you're doing a great service for the amateur and less-than professional level artist. Keep up these great offerings and see you Thursdays at 5:00pm.

    Although we need to mention that cheap entry level bodies like my Canon 650D lack the Double Exposure Feature. So people like me need to use the Post Processing method ! :)
    That being said, I need to say, thank you for all your videos. Your reviews and tutorials are very pleasant to watch, and the information I got from you is very valuable. :) You helped me a lot with picking my body, my lenses, etc !

      ***** Hi Chelsea, greetings from Scotland. Thanks for another great video. I just wanted to point out that not all manufacturer's "entry level" DSLR are the same in this regard. The entire Pentax DSLR range inc the K 500, K 50 & K S1 has multiple exposure functionality in camera as std. Not sure if you were aware, as Tony and yourself never seem to touch on Pentax gear (maybe because they don't have a full frame DSLR option???). The one exception I think, was when Tony covered the medium format 645Z a while ago, pre release. (Hope you are at least going to review that at some point. )

    • @Elmex_1
      @Elmex_1 Před 9 lety

      the in-camera post processing features are something that varies largely from manufacturer to manufacturer, like how different car brands have more features for cheaper. Say a toyota might not have automatic AC or ESP, unless you pay some more extra, whilst I think Nissan you might end up paying less or you might get some features without having to pay "more than regular model".
      I think same's with cameras. Pentax have plenty of stuff in their cameras, as does sony and samsung. I don't know where olympus and panasonic stand or fuji, but I think nikon and canon come last when it comes to in-camera processing features "for entry level" cameras. Even the premium cameras from them don't have as many as other brands do.

    My 5D Mk II would allow me to select a burst of how many exposures I could make, most of the time I would release the exposure button and the sequence would stop immediately? I bought a Mk III and it rapid fires till I remove my finger, I can't find what is going on so far as it is news to me or the camera is defected ?
    I have David Busch's Mk 111 book and I can't find the problem. I take Rodeo photos and can pretty well read and or correct the exposure.
    I spent many years using good old 35mm film and was excited when Sony came out with the first digital camera around the year 2000 of course it was a flop, but I really liked The Fuji S5 for color later on.

    On my Nikon D7000 you have to enter the same menu with the little camera-->Multiple Exposures--> same as Chelsea said. But then it changes a bit. You take your first exposure, after which you 'must' press OK. Then the 2nd. If you forget the pressing of OK it will record to the card as normal.

    This is a very old video and really should be updated, particularly with the multiple exposure blend modes that you can use within camera. There’s also certainly techniques available with regarding the contrast of the multiple exposure images to get the best out of the function, which is not many been explained, but more than likely because it’s a very old video.
