Blitz and Fizzarolli's relationship explained in Helluva Boss

During the series we find out about fizz and blitz’s relationship. They were childhood friends, had a falling out, and then rekindled things after episode 6.
One way their relationship is reflected is through how fizz talks to blitz. Throughout the show fizz deliberately calls blitz blitzo to annoy him, because it reminds him of his past in the circus and all the trauma that comes along with it. However in episode 6 they become friends and in episode 7 fizzarolli calls blitz by his preferred name instead of blitzo.
I just thought this this was really cute and shows how their friendship is improving as time goes on.

He is a sweet father and brother, but when it comes to a romantic relationship...NaAh! He is the horny guy that would fuck other people even if he is married with a person he choosed, unlike Stolas.

I also noticed this in season one episode six where Moxxie and Blitzø were stuck with the truth bombs and after their “experience”, Blitzø tells Moxxie to call him by his name and is noted in the next episode, having Moxxie exclaim Blitz when Blitzø spoke up at Ozzie’s
Blitzø’s smile after fizz hugs him is adorable
It also goes back to the episode Cherub, where Loopty and Lyle rekindle their friendship. Because it was indeed Blitzø of all people who told Loopty that if Lyle dies both will have to deal with each other forever, just shows that Blitzø didn't want someone like Loopty to suffer the same torment.
Only forever until they die again to the angels that come for the yearly pride ring purge 😂😂

Fizz and BlitzØ relationship is very compelling and sweet
A part of me thinks he didn’t actually know about blitz’s name change until blitz deliberately tells him in episode 6. From what it sounds like they had only talked to each other twice since the accident

I remember watching the episode and smiling so much at Fizz calling him Blitz. It truly shows they're on their way to become close friends again.

I cannot overstate how happy i am with this. This show has been great almost every step of the way. Its quality of animation, writing,character development, hell even the musical numbers god damn. If theyd release a dvd set of the show after its completed id probably buy it

It makes me really happy that they were able to repair their friendship. I really wasn't expecting it, and it's why season 2 episode 6 is my favorite episode in the whole series

I don’t think Fizz said his name wrong out of malice.
What I believe is that even during the song in episode 6, when fizz is distracting the goons and is pretty much begging Blitzø to “HURRY THE F#%< UP”, he accidentally says “Blitzo” in the song.
I think that because they grew up together, it took a while for Fizz to adjust to Blitzø’s new pronunciation and didn’t say it to piss him off. The Robo fizz would have as Blitz had already TOLD Robo fizz how he’d liked his name pronounced, but Fizz and him hadn’t spoken in 15 years.
Makes it more wholesome as you can see the childhood bond and how they were both accustomed to using their original names, but Fizz put extra effort when he rekindled the relationship to change those habits.
Yeah I also thought that Fizz called him that because he probably didn't get used to Blitzø's new name

I love that the show has become a story about a shitty person trying to make amends with most people he hurt in the past or learning to find love. Really shows that Blitz isn't a total heartless demon.
They really proved that the best relationships can be saved with one conversation
Blitz has needed a break so bad getting Fizz back as a friend has been one of the best things in the show so far. After dunking on him until he hit a new low on Season 1 I really hope they give Blitz somewhat of a roll and the chance to get everything he's been wanting. Though knowing him he'll probably self sabotage before he gets it.
And now to wait for Stollas and Blitzø to understand each other and genuinely fall in love

Also it’s nice that Asmodeus is calling “Blitzo” “blitz” now. Which I think it’s pretty cool too, since he did refer to him as “Blitzo” in the 6th episode of season two.

It's quite possible that Fizz actually didn't know until he was corrected, I mean they hadn't had a proper conversation since they were kids at that point
Hopefully Blitz can rekindle things with Verosika and Stolas so he doesnt have anymore burdens on his shoulders
The rekindle of their friendship is probably one of my favorite arc on the show.

I realized while thinking of how to draw an imp they don’t have noses or ears. How the fuck do they smell and hear?
They do have noses. They just aren't very noticeable and easier not to animate, obviously. You can see where they would be based on Fizz's red spot and we see Moxies nostrils when he makes faces in a few episodes, as for ears, I think they are holes we usually don't see closer to the body.
Remember, other Hellborn call Imps "Firetoads" as a slur. So they probably look pretty frog-like if they were in real life. Including the hardly seen nose, not notable ears, and possible skin texture.

I have the hardest times trying to figure out the head shapes into my style. They're so different.

Nope not brothers, but Blitz's dad does give Fizz a birthday card that says "wish you were my son" the day the circus burned down. You can see it if you pause on the one shot from the first circus fire flashback
Goes to show that, despite the façade he sometimes dons, Fizz is a genuinely kindhearted individual.
the fizzarolli at the circus calling blitz(blitzo) and saying nobody likes him is the robot fizzarolli from the recent episode
it's honestly adorable, how they went from being sort of enemies to regaining eachothers friendship and trust, I kinda see them as close as brothers, as Fizz is with Oz and I have the idea that Blitzo and stolas may be more than just a fling
Blitz definitely doesn't see him as a brother considering he was going to give him a love letter on his birthday and he wanted to make out with him even in the present.
But he seems to respect his relationship with Ozzie after episode 7. So, they'll remain friends.

I’m really hoping that at some point we learn why the people in their lives at the time kept them apart and caused them to have their falling out in the first place. They definitely need to expand upon it at some point bc based on what we’ve seen of their past relationship, it doesn’t make sense that they would be told what they were unless someone in their lives wanted to ruin their friendship and found an opportunity with the fire to do so.

Heres where my theory brain is running ->>>
Blitz's feelings are prob gonna come back the closer they get, and Stolis is gonna be like EXTRA heartbroken. Fizz will be in a weird position cause he's now public with Ozzie.... and i just feel it in my spider senses that a "cheating" scandal's gonna happen due to Fizz's fame and amount of gossip gurus looking for a viral news story. and Ozzie's gonna lose his goddamn mind- wanting Fizz to not be casual friends with Blitz anymore. Blitz rebounds and starts screwing around with Stolis again but its different cause now Stolis is more on edge and less excitable... ANNNDD that leads to him confessing that he has feelings for Blitz and was jealous, and it doesnt feel the same cause Blitz clearly loves someone else. Obv cause Blitz is oblivious, he'll think "he loves the sex, thats all" and blow off Stolis as if everythings fine. UNTIL the dots connect that, in the same way Blitz's first love was Fizz as children, Stolis's first love was Blitz as kids, as his first and ONLY friend. 🙄 and instead of being happy Blitz will be a coward and not know how to respond and just go get drunk and be feral.
I truly believe we will never see Stolitz until the very end of the show... that's our reward. Drama drama drama and theyll FINALLY be together at the very end 💀 too many haters thinking its all just a gag and wont watch the show if love is involved. Yeesh
It was a breath of fresh air to see Fizz and concise somewhat with Blitz. The whole "everyone I used to be friends with hates my guts now" Schtick was getting real old
I enjoyed how they got us to lovea character who was so difficult to like at first, what a great plot.
This is the start of Blitz's redemption arc where he repairs the broken relationships he's shattered. Fizz is the first. I hope Barbie Wire is next.

I honestly love that Alex Brightman is has roles in both series.
Fizz is actually so sweet I love him, like earlier on he seemed like a huge asshole but he really was just traumatized and thought Blitz was the deliberate cause of his accident. My favorite part of the whole series was when Fizz interacted with that deaf fan with sign language, it was so wholesome and showed how much Fizz really cared for his fans.
God I love this show. So well done
