Actually Dawko made a video about Mimic. As he said, BurnTrap is not canon but also not canon to be Mimic. Dawko said, there are drawings of each ending Gregory made. However, even there are drawings for each endings except for one, when you beat the Princess Quest games, where Vanessa saved. The three star ending is canon for ruin dlc. He also said there's a animatronic that, controling animatronics. Like, how Monty agressive. As for that animatronic, Mimic found that animatronic and such as to his program, he mimics it. Better watch the video about Dawko made since i might said or miss informed things 'cause of my bad english.

Glitchtrap IS a digital copy of William's consciousness, but Burntrap is just Glitchtrap uploaded directly into the salvaged remains of his old physical body. While he has more control in the digital realm, up until that point everything he'd tried had failed, so he uploads himself into what Vanny managed to salvage and mash together to get the job done himself.

@@RogerStanford23I don't get it, you claim that Glichtrap is a digital copy of William's consciousness, but then you later claim that he's William? Which one exactly are you trying to claim? It can't be both. William himself or a digital copy?
Also, what exactly is the difference between Glichtrap being a digital copy of William rather than being the Mimic mimicking him? It's still a William-copy regardless you know.
MatPat didn't confirm anything. He's a theorist, not a lore guide. Glichtrap says I always come back in Princess Quest yes, but his voice is completely different and not British. Same with the Security Breach trailer too, those lines are scrapped there anyway. Mimic can straight up mimic Gregory's voice so why can't it try doing the same with William? You're just assuming they're William's.
So what if Glichtrap has a few human traits? Mimic as Tiger Rock does too. This is why you don't say screw the books. They are important whether you like it or not.
@@aslancantr710 Actually, if Tangle and the Burntrap zone are RUIN, then Burntrap does exist. Therefore, the cheap excuse of "Burntrap is not canon" does not work.
Burntrap is Afton returning again, and anyone who denies that is simply opposing canon.
