As others have mentioned cannot do 365 pages in Canva so you would be best to do a 6 months or weekly instead of daily and have them down the page.
hey can you help me please, canva wont add any more than 67 pages but when i open another tab on canva I tend to lose my hyperlink with a message saying your hyperlink was deleted, how do i get around this? thanks
@@RyanNiemer yes I am a pro user and I can have 300 pages at this point however there is a 1200 element limit which we are trying to get removed. If you were to use lots of lines in your document each line is considered one element so you could use up all your elements in 40 pages and could not add an more pages.
Great video. You can automate the page creation in Canva through importing the text through a csv file in bulk create section. Saves a lot of time. Obviously you still need to add links.
For those who don't know it has now been updated to 300 pages so that is fantastic. Once it gets to 400 pages [or unlimited would be great], then you can do the 365 digital diary without having to merge documents which becomes a nightmare for hyperlinking to the correct pages externally.
Again your content across multiple platforms ( Yeah I did some due diligence and saw that your creative talents are not YT or KDP specific) is amazing. You combine that cool demeanor, knowledge and personality to create some great vids. One suggestion to you for your interactive PDF might be when you make a note on a specific days page have the content or at least an abbreviated form of it show up in the main month page in that dates box, a quick reference, if you will, for ease of seeing your schedule weeks or months in advance. that's right, you can't simply take Canva templates and use them commercially... you can however design your own using the elements (lines & shapes) Or purchase a template with PLR license

I was wondering this also. How to make an entry for 365 days is impossible in canva. At the moment they allow 350 pages. I would still need more. I suggest a PDF merger program like PDF 24 or I love PDF. Merge option.

Canva has updated its capability. Canva says: Designs can have up to 200 pages. If you need more, you can create a new design as a workaround. Download both designs, and merge them using any file merger.

How do you make a daily planner for a whole year using this technique when Canva has a 200 page limit? Once you reach your 200 pages and need to start a new PDF, how do you hyperlink back to your yearly and monthly pages that are in the seperate first document?
That's a very good question. I think the only way around that would be to create two files in Canva and then merge them together and add the links at smallpdf.com or in software at pdfexpert.com. Not free solutuons but all I can think of at the moment.
Paul, Great tutorial, I have just got my kindle scribe and followed your instrustions on the calendar, works a treat on CANVA, however, the PDF file is 98MB, I cannot get that onto my scribe without losing the abiliy to write on the file using the pen, I have tried compressing the pdf but it wont get below the 50MB threshhold, I have copied it onto my scribe using the cable but cannot write on the daily notes section, can you help her please? Hi Paul, I was talking to Amazon chat helpline today and they said that there is no way to convert paperback books to be used on scribe currently via KDP. There is no interactivity. I'm assuming that this is not being done via KDP upload option in the bookshelf? I'm guessing this is about providing a pdf link via your own website for somebody to download the pdf and then add it to their own kindle? Amazon haven't provided a device that has enough storage to be able to live save any scribbles that you do in a book but I'm guessing most tablets with pencils would have the ability to save changes to PDF. Am I missing something here, I'll rewatch the video in case :) Love your helpful videos so wanted to make sure I understood this correctly. So many shortcuts you have shown me on CANVA that I really appreciate. @@paulmarles ah ok so thats supposed to work becuase when I spoke to help desk they said they don't have the capacity in the scribe to be able to store any writing on a PDF. That's why I was confused by them. They imply that its' only stuff created like books you can add handwritten notes on. Guess thats not the case if you have tested it. Yes, it looks like 200 pages is the maximum. You can create two pdf files and merge them with something like smallpdf but the problem is with the links. So, you'd need to use a pdf editor. There is Affinity Publisher which has a 30 day free trial. Scribus is a free alternative that may work although I've never used it.

Hi guys, can I ask, I have created a risk assessment template using the above method, it is on my scribe but I want to reuse it again and again. Does anyone K ow how to duplicate it. I wanted the unused template in a folder then have copies of completed forms in its own folder?
So for a word search, I could make a table of contents with links to each puzzle and then have a link on each puzzle to the corresponding answer page. The scribe user should be able to circle off the words as they find them without any special formatting on my part. Right? Possibly the same with a sudoku book?

No, you can't do that, unfortunately. Only books in pdf format that customers upload to their Kindle Scribe can be written in.

If you chose the option to flatten your pdf that may help with the issue.

Certainly possible and I would think likely, eventually. Not heard of any plans at the moment though.

For using different brushes etc you would need to be looking at using something like Affinity publisher or Adobe indesign to crete the pdf files.

So, creating an 8.5 x 11" kindle scribe template will fit a 10.2" kindle scribe??
Yes, it seems to fit perfectly. I haven;t tried other sizes but I suspect it will adjust the size autmatically to fit the screen.

I have canva pro and I can't do more than 300 pages at a time. Got a workaround for that? Trying to figure out how to link pages that are now in a new document.

Yes, you can put whatever pages you like in. This was more of an example of how to create the links in a pdf and just create a very basic pdf.

Thank you for the video. I started creating this in Canva, however when I got to the end of adding the daily pages for May it says I cannot load anymore. It says that’s the max. I have a Pro account. Any suggestions?
Yes, it looks like 200 pages is the maximum. You can create two pdf files and merge them with something like smallpdf but the problem is with the links. So, you'd need to use a pdf editor. There is Affinity Publisher which has a 30 day free trial. Scribus is a free alternative that may work although I've never used it.

hey canva wont add any more than 67 pages but when i open another tab on canva I tend to lose my hyperlink with a message saying your hyperlink was deleted, how do i get around this?

So for a word search, I could make a table of contents with links to each puzzle and then have a link on each puzzle to the corresponding answer page. The scribe user should be able to circle off the words as they find them without any special formatting on my part. Right? Possibly the same with a sudoku book?

Hi, anyone ran into an issue with the error noting the file is too large? I added a picture to my background of mine and wondered if that is the why. How would you get pictures and the full year without running into size limitations?
I've not run into that issue. It may be the images. If you save them as 300 dpi images before using them then that may reduce the size of the files.
