and he was completely right about the police thing too.. police usually brush off stalker cases. female streamers like sweet anita have had terrifying encounters with stalkers and law enforcement did little to nothing to help, even when her stalker threatened to k*ll her. another streamer amouranth had a stalker camp outside the local starbucks for 40 days straight while he sent n*de videos of himself to her and police didnt do anything.

I don't know why but the screwdriver ending where she is inside the bathroom trying to unscrew the vent while the stalker is banging on the door has to be one of the most terrifying scenes I have ever encountered plus the sound design is spectacular.
I totally get that actually. When I was playing it I was literally say come on come on trying to open it. It's very well done and it is prob one of the only times that I was scared and it wasn't by a jump scare it was that pure please let her live please don't get in!

Yeah, the game made very little sense. For example, WTF was that scene when the lights go out and a huge clock appears outside? Another good idea ruined by poor execution.
Japan is a very safe country tho. Maybe that’s why. You can look up some stats. It shows they’re usually top three for the lowest crime rate

I know a lot of people are talking about how they wish there were a good ending but I think people need to see this as a harsh reality that can happen to a lot of women
A lot of the stuff actually does happen to both not only women but men. The reason why you don’t see or hear much about it because it gets overlooked or people joke about it and downplay it but it is just as serious if not taken seriously. Nobody deserves to feel this kind of stress or fear. Being followed and creeped upon and unfortunately for some to their impending doom should never Happen to anyone

I found the good ending!!Before leaving the apartment to go to work during the last part of the game, you go outside, down the stairs, turn around, and then go back inside. Next you have to go to the couch. Then the girl will be safe.
Next, you close the game, uninstall, leave a great review, and thats it. The girl cant die if you don't finish the game.

It’s best to assume the Stalker died offscreen in a satisfying way where the main character kills him and pushes him off the Balcony after stabbing him in the eye with the Screwdriver, that huge Brick she dropped on the Stalker’s head would give her an advantage to finish him off because it would eventually bother him if he tried whatever he was trying to do to her. And then after a few weeks passed, she just finds the right guy at work and live happily ever after! You got the good ending :)

As a guy, I thoroughly enjoyed this game due to the life lessons it has taught me.
Apart from learning to make some recipes myself (haha, I actually really loved learning recipes and making coffee), actually being the protagonist and directly perceiving stalking has helped me better understand what some women go through in society.
I think there's no good ending for a good reason, and that's to send a strong message to the player.
Also, I think the first ending is supposed to have an open-ended interpretation for very good reasons, but neither of the interpretations are to be fully discounted.
Women should be heard and your concerns taken seriously in society; most men don't have a good understanding of what you go through.

Real shit brother. Many men disregard feminism entirely because of the very loud minority that they perceive as the entire group, but in reality feminism isn't just supremacy, it's to help women with unfortunately common problems such as portrayed in the game.
On ending 2, I kept thinking “CHECK THE BACK SEAT!!!” All the endings really had me on edge though
Disturbing theory, but I think the strange noises in the death jumpscare are meant to represent something like the sound of wild animals, maybe a dog, or some type of predator catching its prey, with the sound of the prey desperately trying to get away.
You can take this any way you'd like, but I feel like there's something specific about this jumpscare and it's not disturbing for no reason
It's a sound of a pack of dogs fighting for whatever food they find.
It symbolize the fact that you're now dead and those stalker(dog) will now enjoying your body in anyway they want after you died.

She did tell the police, but its stated 2 times in the game they won't do anything so they don't have to do extra work, and irl the police won't do anything unless they're actually attacked you. 54% of female victims reported stalking to the police before they were killed by their stalkers, the statistics for men are unknown as they also have a hard time getting peopleto take it seriously :( there are no good ending. Real or in game

What if Good Endings
1 You used the screwdriver to stab the stalker
2 You gave your real number to shoya and call him and he calls the cops to arrest the stalker and was given a death penalty (or he is dead)
3 Senpai arrives on time to save you from the stalker (or he is killed by the stalker)

Hell, I could say he killed that half naked man because of how disrespectful he was to his "Queen"
Same could be applied to the Mother whose Baby died to the Stalker as an retaliation for being rude to the MC, the mother was even sniffing or sobbing when she got to Chilla's Coffee.
Senpai not being on the last shift might have made it more obvious that he died.
Another theory I have is that the Milk Stalker had died to the Tall Stalker a.k.a the villain of the game.
Stalker 1 might have caught up that Stalker 2 was living inside of the restaurant and may have also seen that he was taking pictures.
Basically, he probably had killed everyone who had been rude to the MC.

I wish there was a good ending. Especially considering the protagonist and her situation, as a woman I want to see her succeed and be happy. I just hope that in the ending where she dropped a cement block on his head, he gets some sort of internal hemorrhaging. There's no way that wouldn't mess his head up badly. So when he goes to attack her, he starts to have a seizure or something and she takes the opportunity to incapacitate or kill him, then goes on to move out of that place and live happily ever after.
I hope so as well. I think I will believe this explanation anyway 😊

It’s meant to represent what some people go through with stalkers in real life. It isn’t meant to have a happy ending. If it did, in a way that would downplay the true horror of being a victim of stalking. Not having a good ending is the perfect choice. It shows that not everything in the world is happy and safe, that people die all the time, that stalking truly is horrific. Having every ending show this is the best way to end the game. Not everything has a happy ever after

The paranoia that some creep is constantly watching you is just terrifying. This is one of my biggest fears, and when he disappeared from the door when he was closing, it scared me to death. I would be thinking that he is silently lurking through the cafe, stalking me.
It is a very unnerving game! I will give them that they won in that way but it has freaked alot of people out!

There weren’t any “good endings” to this game or “win” this shows how much trauma can affect someone, many players were confused which was supposed to be one of the point, did he died? Did he killed her? Did she died? Were most of the parts hallucinations? This game is the reality women have to go through with stalkers that will ruin them forever even if they died

Probably a case of "if I can't have you, nobody can". If the person they're obsessed with isn't reciprocating their feelings some stalkers would rather have them dead then potentially end up with somebody else.

Any number of reasons. The really mentally ill ones will do it in some sick attempt at making their victim forever theirs. The slightly less crazy ones will do it because they know she will report them to the authorities so they figure if they kill her and either hide the body well enough or leave the body in a situation where its hard to tell what happened or who killed her, they will get to stay free.
Either way, they are monsters.

Stalkers are a serious issue. It’s the real life version of a yandere but 50 times more unpleasant due to the other party being a total creep. The worst part is it’s 99% males.
Not only do they take your stuff (larceny), break into your property (trespassing) and follow you around (restraining orders are legal in Japan right?) but these mofos are mentally ill criminals in the making that will commit sexual assault and even murder (iirc Tanaka Rie, Nep Nep’s VA was attacked during her anime festival about 10 years ago) Police are willing to jail an innocent man without certain evidence but aren’t willing to jail a stalker when there IS evidence.
Things in anime seem so nice because in comparison, real life in Japan generally sucks a lot; it’s why this industry flourishes so much.
If you wanna be a successful Yandere go be a successful handsome CEO of your own company in your twenties first and you can be domineering and stalker-like all you want ok.
Agreed but not all stalkers are yanderes. (the phone guy is definitely a real-life yandere no doubt on that) There are stalkers that stalk either because of revenge, lust and the list goes on.

@Iridos Games ending implies the game is finished roll the credits, but this only happens if do steps scripted. the other two scenarios forces you to restart from the last check point until do what the scripted events that's when you get the one and only ending 😉

i know people keep on repeating it but i do truly believe that in the ending where the protag escapes through the side door, she is being SAd after being incapacitated and i think the noises present really imply that too.
chilla never confirms it but there are a lot of theories. the most popular is SA.
monkey hunters use dogs to help them, well, hunt. i think the sounds imply that the “dog”, in this case, the stalker, captured his “monkey”, the protagonist. now, he is…brutalizing his prey. the sounds honestly are just unnerving and made me squirm in my seat while watching cory’s play through
This is what I was thinking too. I think the sounds and the motions of the "camera" and the overall time length of it happening (because woo-boy does it take an awkward amount of time for the protagonist to fade to black) that its insinuating that S.A. did happen. That ending makes me the most uncomfortable and hits like a punch to the stomach when it happens, to the point where I'll actually skip past it when i know its coming. Great game developing on such a sensitive topic, and even better execution so that the ones who do see it, also "feel" it in a sense as well.
Anyway I'm grateful that there was a newer comment on this that had the same idea. I know its been said a couple (more than a couple) times that that's what happened but still.
The scariest part of all this is that it can happen to anyone.

I gotta be honest, the whole surviving a fucking giant ass brick being dropped on his head ruined the immersion for me. The whole point of the game is a realistic horror. No human would just walk away from that. Even if he didn't die, no wau he'd be okay enough to leave before the cops arrived. Not a great place for the "I always come back" trope.

Perhaps it’s like a hallucination of some sorts? I saw this from a comment somewhere, but essentially, it’s symbolic to the fact that the mental affects of the stalker are still there, while the physical cause is gone.

Oh that moment when you're being stalked by a deranged psychopath and after a harrowing escape conveniently find your phone just outside your balcony after setting it on your counter several minutes beforehand, totally not suspicious at all ^^
After finished this game,I immediately boot up "Yakuza Zero". And replayed that substory to beat up stalker real quick to release stressed from this game.

These old apartment homes don’t have secure modern doorknobs, they’re cheap as hell so the apartment owners can save money. Also like panty thieves, stalkers CAN and will climb up to where you live simply by travelling balcony to balcony, so yeah.
I know this is only a game, but this just shows that you always need to be strapped with a weapon 24/7 no matter where you go, even when you're at home. Whether it be a knife, bat, or gun, always have something to protect yourself.
Main thing is being aware of your surroundings when you are out and knowing who is around you or behind you. Windows and reflections are great to see who is behind you how close etc without turning. Always trust your tummy

What if you don't know any form of self defense, then what? It's one thing to be self aware of your surroundings which is good and important, but you could still get your own life taken from you regardless if you're just self aware and do not have any form of defense.
@@ajrg91 there is a line between being cautious and paranoid. Carrying a weapon 24/7 is paranoia while trying to even avoid a situation where you have to use a weapon/trying to deter any possible confrontations is being cautious.

@@IridosGaming I am pretty sure he got there, because I don't why, but our protagonist didn't lock the door behind her when she tried to get her phone. Look I am very sorry for her situation and wished she could have a decent life, but that was not very wise when you have a crazy stalker on the loose.
And they were two stalkers: the hoodie guy and the cell phone guy.
The cellphone guy most likely killed the hoodie guy (he was living in the shop).

I don’t own the game sadly, but I was wondering during the ending when you go to get your phone.. what if instead of returning to your apartment you go to the bus? Would that somehow be a good ending? Or would it just not work? Or perhaps it would end the same way.. I really wish I could test this out! Please anyone with the game try this out and share your results.
Sadly I tried but it does nothing :( it says you have to go back into the apartment! I also tried having the screwdriver with me as well! that also didn't work either she wouldn't use it :(

I don't think the man r*** her, you can see hes fully clothed (possibly wearing a full body suit) and the sounds come almost instantly there wouldn't be any time for removing clothing and sorts .

Its pretty impossible for Him to unclothe himself and the mc in a 2 second timespan so me most likely beat the mc to death.

I think its an implication rather than what actually was happening. The stalker incapacitated her and now can do whatever he wanted with her. I doubt he would simply kill the girl since hes a stalker after all

I kind of enjoy the lack of a good ending due to the setting.
The protagonist is constantly put under pressure to do things right and deal with multiple orders and then clean up everything all alone. She is overworked and gaslighted. Plus some people imply that there may be ghosts or other reasons, so the protag's judgement gets clouded. Some people talked about ghosts and ghosts don't exist, so why another person or her would be correct in believing that something is going on?
Plus there are many cases when victims got ignored in Japan and get told to get over it. Life isn't sweet and sometimes downer endings are needed to reflect.
Finally, a good ending would imply that somehow the protag and victims could survive if they wanted to.
so basically it doesn't matter either ending she dies! well maybe not in the last one idk she probably could have pushed him off the edge

Long ending would’ve been good ending if she would’ve full on thrown the brick at the stalker instead of letting it drop from her hands. And and a few extra drops on the dome just to make sure.

So the police didn't really do much , the guy must've hidden the body of the private investigator. There is no way he got beat to death and the police found his body and thought nothing of it . I assume he witnessed the stalker coming off the roof . As well it was pretty creepy the stalker was coming out of the back room and hitting the breaker.

Ok. So I have so many questions. Why in the world would you wanna pack the cakes first when you could just close the door first? Why can't u take his mobile to call the police and also the bat from the stalker, so that you can defend yourself? Why would you not show the police the CCTV footage of that stalker standing behind the store? If you understood someone's been living in the store, why the heck would you not take you mobile from the cupboard and call the police while also blocking all doors that lead inwards? You live in a story that has many items you can use to defend yourself, like you can use the mop, the hot water, break a chair and use the chair leg as a melee and I can go on with this list. Surely the computer could have some sort of internet access, you can call help online in some way. Also, if you already knew the stalker knows your whereabouts, why not go to the police in advance? Many people told somethings off with the store, but you never felt to check it with the senpai?

A game is a game, this should have a good kind of ending, that way atleast a good message can be delivered. Not just deppressing messages, but actual hopeful one. An example would be the worker kills the stalket, and recover from the trauma with the help of people around her after time passes which rarely happens but does happen. The body's gone, and the worker just decides "everything ia vack to normal and i can chillax again".... Truly a troublefisher move. Why should a game copy reality so much, it makes no sense to me, including the troublefisher move the worker did.
Good Ending, just lay out a mine field around the house and hang some signs out with the inscription: who seeks will find, who steps on it will disappear :)
