The series takes place in the same universe as the original. This series shows us what was happening with the invasion in Korea.

just woke up after binging all 6 episodes in one night lol as a fan of the original anime and the japanese live action films, I love this adaptation and it's so cool to see the Korean perspective of the parasytes. All episodes are amazing!!!!!

Parasyte The Grey has a lot of action whereas the original anime/manga had a lot of action too but they delve deeper into the relationship between parasytes and humans. Both are great honestly
yes! both the anime/manga and PTG have their own complexities because both of the mains' situations are so different and unique, totally love the deep dive into Su-in and her parasyte's situation in further episodes [insert eyes emoji]
Can't wait for season 2 😭

This show reminds me so much of the movie Life with Ryan Reynolds in it. I don't even know why, I think it's because it gives me the shivers
