Pink Floyd's album The Dark Side of the Moon is among the most critically acclaimed records in history, often featured on professional listings of the greatest albums of all time. The record helped propel Pink Floyd to international fame, bringing wealth and recognition to all four of its members. A blockbuster release of the album era, it also propelled record sales throughout the music industry during the 1970s. It has been certified 14× platinum in the United Kingdom, and topped the US Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart, where it has charted for 958 weeks in total.

He's a great guy and a real gent. Iron Maiden have a huge back catalogue of material, their video 'Can I Play With Madness' is a great one. Very 80s metal and probably a bit grainy quality now (edit: it isn't, it's been digitally remastered on YT) but loads of fun! It's quite a catchy song.

It’s about the sometimes rigid and abusive schooling in uk education that still existed at this time (1979) The ‘bricks’ in the wall are the adults , particularly teachers who surround the kids and close them off. The song is about the kids revolting and tell the teachers to leave them alone.
Adam Lambert was invited by Queen to be their frontman on tour many years after Freddie died. He is not there to replace Freddie but emulate him. They always pay tribute to him in their concerts with them singing along to footage and adding Freddie’s vocals.

Where QUEEN was the ROCK OPERA group, PINK FLOYD was the ROCK CLASSICAL group with vocals. Meaning their music was like a modern day version of Classical music such as composers lick BACH, Beethoven and Mozart and many others. As much as I like Queen, PINK FLOYD is far better on so many levels. I understand that Freddy has a Remarkable voice, however PINK FLOYD can transport your mind, heart and soul thru the depth of their music and their Lyrics were very deep and meaningful and can if studied open your mind to so may things.

No-John Lennon didn't just die- he was murdered in NYC by a jerk still in jail. And for the Police- the drummer, Stewart Copeland is American (his Dad CIA head of Lebanon station in 1970s). But that video you showed was slanted . No Small Faces or The Faces, no Cream, no Eurythmics, no 10cc, no Deep Purple, no Mott the Hoople, no Traffic, no Joe Cocker, no Average White Band, no Nazareth, no Dire Straits, no Humble Pie, no Mike Oldfield, no Yardbirds... please! THIS was the British Invasion. US rock started to phase out when Pat Boone (we called him Pat Prune) sang Little Richard songs. Then the 10 your video showed plus the dozen or so I mentioned re-invigorated Rock starting in about 1964. Thank goodness. Greetings from only a partly biased Canada. Peace and be safe. Led Zepplin's song "Kashmir" is simply iconic. The guitar rifts played by the iconic Jimmy Page is masterclass, the vocals of Robert Plant with his blues touch unbeatable and drums of John Bonham magic not to forget and probably most underestimated bassist John Paul Jones was magnificent. The Beatles deserve their place at number one regarding impact in the music industry but personally Led Zepplin is my favorite as total band vocally and technically. There is no way The Beatles would have or will ever beat Led Zepplin in these aspects.
