You know it’s going to be a Great 👍 Night when Railfan Rowan has posted another video for us.👍
Yeah buddy Kenn
Especially when its close to 25 minutes
Hey railfan rowan
That's my Railfan Rowan!
I hear the trains from my house and I live 10 minutes from the tracks, in a totally different village where there is NO tracks lol!
It sure was a pleasure meeting you, Rowan. Hope to see you again soon.
There ya go buddy, hey great meeting you guys! We'll run into each other again I'm sure!
Good catch of Sd70ace balck paint scheme
Keep the great content rolling! :)
Great job!
Thanks bro
Railfan Rowan it was a pleasure to meet you (at the Rockland Rd. crossing) and my wife and children enjoyed it as well. Your doing fantastic and thanks for sharing another very good video. God bless you, keep safe and happy travels. ☝🏼🙏🏻🙂
The dirt on the engines makes them look even cooler!
great video Rowan. My favorite part was Riverton junction and that intermodal working the port. i work Transportation and Logistics Management in the Army and understand a lot of what they are doing. They move out Military trains the same way.
That's awesome! Thanks for the view and support!
That was a good one!! At the beginning I found myself listening to the crossing bell and concluded it was a mechanical clapper and not an electronic dinger. LOL. Lots of good info and chase excitement in this one. Loved your description of the train weight on the bridge steel support. Crazy. Be safe out there.
Thanks James, good to hear from you sir, I trust you are well, my the Lord bless you
You know it’s a good day when Rowan uploads. Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving. Nice catches! I don’t know horns that well, but they certainly sounded good!
Thanks Matt Happy Thanksgiving to you as well too
That first one was A SD70ACe With A K5LLA
great catch as usual,take care!!
Great video Rowan! You always make me click off your videos with a smile on my face!
Thanks buddy!!! So glad it makes you happy!
Keep up the great work! Nice catches too!
Thanks ECR!!!
Another great video. Love the start with “real” bells 🔔 Thank you Rowan.
You're welcome, thank YOU wayne!!
Awesome catches Rowan keep it up nice catch of 227 doing yard work
Yeah it was kinda cool!!
@@RailfanRowan yeah it is
Great video, I could watch these all day long!
Thanks Kevin!! Wish I could make them all day long lol
Folks may be unaware of the rare site of the blue Rock Island grain car at 9:59 in the video. I'm from Iowa where the Rock rolled until bankruptcy in 1980. The site of a Rock Island car is very rare even in these parts! The blue color scheme came late in its existence, and the "Route Rock" (rhymes with "out") theme was its last marketing effort before demise. Great catch!
Always greatful for the ride along. Thanks Rowan keep on trackside filming
Thank you!!
Great video Rowan, I love your videos!!!
Excellent video Rowan, very professional, I'm always on the lookout for more of your footage.
All the best from Scotland.👍🏴
Thank you my friend!
Super action video. Very interesting. Happy Thanksgiving Rowan.
Happy Tday to you too robert
Those loud cars at Riverton jct are nothing compared to the curve! Lol
Ding ding ding ding ... GOTTA LOVE THOSE BELLS !!!
Happy thanksgiving Rowan and cool video!
Thanks Ethan!!!
Rowan what is Jackson your good buddy’s CZcams channel name!
Hi good morning to all So cooool
Happy Thanksgiving Rowan thanks for the post! Talking about the bridge movement all bridges have to flex or they will break.
Yes that is very true but still wild
There’s Debris Backlog from Derailments around the US and takes Contractors time to remove it.👍
Yep! Clearly this has taken time
Thank you for speaking on that. I was wondering about that
Sweet catches!
Love your videos Rowan. I live almost in sight of the H line in Elkton, so I get to hear a number of those trains every day.
Ah very cool, I've been close to your neck of the woods then!!
Railfan Rowan's videos are the best. I could watch his videos all day.
Thanks Wayne!
@@RailfanRowan Your welcome!
Terrific catches! Terrific chase!
That first bridge scene is so impressive. The bridge looks too small to hold those monster locomotives!!!!
Nice K5LLA action, love the SD70ACe engine👍
Another great video by RR. The bridge supports close-up is fascinating, and scary. Have driven under it many times - VA Route 55, east of Front Royal near Linden. The echo of the horn off the hillsides, at 8:35, is quite special. Appreciate all the detailed info. you provide.
Thanks so much Dennis for your view and support of the channel!
Thanks for sharing ,all the best from Denmark
If you look closely above the 1060 number at 17:45 you will see that it says "Under Warranty" so that's pretty cool!
Yeah, many of those aces say that actually
@@RailfanRowan I've noticed that the UP AC4400CWs in original paint still say that.
Great video once again mate!
Nice video Rowan! That's crazy how that bridge was moving.
Cool video and thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing!
Use ear plugs. I like your description of the bridge movement. Use cotton to suppress wind noise. Have your favorite conductor explain how the engine bell works.
8:50, like that shot 👍, keep up the good work!
Good stuff guys🙋🏾♀️
Love that bridge, great video
Another great video!!! Thanks for posting!!
Good job with the train chases Rowan!
Love those Crossing bells
Great shots! N&W/NS will always have a special place in my heart❤️
I loved it man I’ve actually heard some older crossings yesterday
Very informative as usual. Thanks
Great Video as always!
Love the sun roof shot bud.
I really enjoyed this episode very informative great job. GOD Bless.
Today is December 15th and in Pennsylvania, just had a Norfolk Southern train go through with 7 lead engines and total length was over 2 miles long. 😍
Nice catch keep up the good work love it
Many years ago in the 80's, (as an independent contractor) my dad and his crew sandblasted, primed, and painted the bridge you stood under. He did the next one at Overall, Luray, and others closer to Shenandoah.
Great video!!!!!
This was NEATO!!!! Thanks for sharing this. Be safe out there and becareful, TAKE CARE, HAPPY HOLIDAYS💐⛄🎄🌟🎇🎁,MORE PLEASE.💯😁😉👍
Thank you soooo much 90MaC appreciate the support my friend!!
Very nice videos! Be careful standing too close as trains go by. I worked on the railroad 39 years in the northeast. I have noticed box car doors on the ground about 3 times. They probably weigh close to a ton. Not likely to happen, but it does. Keep chasing trains and posting them. Love your narrative! Stay safe!🚂
Thanks Mr. Wade! Appreciate the safety initiative
Awesome bridge.
Your videos are unlike any others I have watched. I like what you do. Great job! Thanks.
Thank you Kat!!
I'm new to your channel and great catch of the NS w the 2 DPU's in Luray,Va. Looking fwd to seeing more train videos Rowan. Thanks for sharing this video and I'm viewing this from the 1st state of DELAWARE!
Thanks for joining the family Richard!!
Cool horn salute from the first train
Great video and chase.
Awesome vid I loved that SD70ACe
Nice catches!
I spent that same weekend in Staunton, VA. Caught SVRR #5940 heading back to Staunton Yard by fluke and followed it 'home'.
As for NS 227, a friend of mine caught it leaving Portlock Yard in Norfolk, VA a few nights ago, so I thought that was funny you caught it in your video as well last month.
Great Video . bravo !
Nice job Rowan.
16:43 says he wants to be a conductor and low and behold here we are in 2023 lol 😂
Another fun and informative video! I am amazed at what good shots you can get from a moving car. You really know how to get the most out of your equipment.
Thank you, I appreciate this comment and observation thanks!!
Awesome video!
Nice Rowan!
That was a nice E Bell
We get material in those ex N&W cars where I work... really cool to see them up close
u know ur days gonna be good if the first notif u get is rowans
Thanks Landon!!
@@RailfanRowan ur welcome!
Another wonaful video. Because this video is from thanksgiving week I’ll share what I’m thankful for: I’m thankful I found this channel especially because your personality is very similar to mine, and I want to meet you in person one day and go Railfanning. Especially if I had to create a Railfan bucket list, anyway Keep em coming Rowan God bless 😎.
Awesome! Great work as usual Rowan! Interesting seeing an Intermodal combined with other freight!
Yeah that seems more unique to our area I've not seent hat elsewhere! Thanks as always!
@@RailfanRowan Your welcome Rowan!
81 RT also goes north / south into new york state, all the way from the southern
border of the state to the south edge of lake ontario. and towards the saint Lawrence sea way.
runs parallel to route 390. great vids Rowan hope all is well with your new job.
Happy Thanksgiving
Your professionalism along with your unique commentary makes your videos a pleasure to watch and enjoy.
Thanks Charlie!!
Wow! I actually caught that same 16T! Had TONS of fallen flags on it for sure. Also caught that 211, and that same 202 had an over-under meet at Shenandoah Junction with CSX Q369
Cool stuff!!
Wow great video!
Another great video Rowan! The bridge/trestle shots were awesome! Crazy how those steel beams we’re moving when each locomotive went over it! Enjoyed all the footage like usual. Stay safe brother🙏🏽
Great Video
Amazing footage! Isn't that a K5LLA at 0:24?
I have no idea
Great video
great video like usual. lot more aces good catches today!
Thanks my friend
Awesome video! 5291 is native to my area up in Binghamton, heard it went to Roanoke for a 92 day so that’s why it was down there. Yes 81 runs all the way through PA and NY all the way up to the Canadian Border with ON-137 and major Canadian highway ON-401.
Wow didn't know it went that far , I'm more knowledgeable about rails than trails
Incredible voice overs❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice love your videos
O. Winston Link photographed the Luray Bridge where you were filming- really cool to see it now. Does not look like it has changed much- there is even the Luray Caverns sign in the same spot (sign has changed to a newer version) Winston Link photographed the NW railroad in the last days of steam in the 1950's. Virginia was featured in a lot of his night time photographs. There is a great book about his work- probably can find on Amazon. Great videos!
Awesome video as always! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Thanks Galaxy!
Really cool video
Nice job Rowan I do rail fan in Colorado springs
