Have you ever been overwhelmed by good news - life-changing news?
The Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, is not just “good news” - but it is EXPLOSIVE news that changes lives. It is meant to OVERWHELM us with a greater good that overshadows and heals all of our wounds of life.
The Parish Staff was blessed to have the opportunity to be OVERWHELMED with the Good News when we heard Fr. John Riccardo explain the Rescue Project at the Diocesan Conference a couple of weeks ago. We learned that there is so much more to the Word of God than meets the eye and it has left us HUNGRY for more.
Would you like to be given more Good News in your life to outweigh the junk of the world affecting your life? Would you like to learn a deeper side of the Good News giving us ointment to heal our wounds and fuel our hunger for more?
Then you are being called to attend The Rescue Project - a powerful 7-week series beginning Thursday, October 27th at 6:15pm. Each session includes dinner, prayer, a video presentation, and small group discussion. All are invited to come and experience the power of the Gospel in a way that many have never experienced before. Sign up after Mass in the Gathering Space so we can plan on food and small groups. There is also an online registration link for all who are unable to sign up after Mass. Invite your family and friends to this life-changing series.
Fr. Poggemeyer will also be starting a new 4-week homily series beginning October 29th and 30th which will also present the story of the Gospel in a new and powerful way. Invite someone you know back to Mass those weekends so that all might hear the story of our rescue - yours, mine, of every human person that has ever lived. We have each been created, captured and redeemed.
The Lord is offering us life-changing news. He is waiting on our answer.
