The song list of this after opening video is as follows: Super Moon (from No Man’s Sky soundtrack) Pacify (from Heavy Sky) Prisms (from Wild Light) Crash Tactics (from We Were Exploding Anyway) Install a Beak in the Heart That Clucks Time in Arabic (from The Fall of Math) Retreat! Retreat! (from The Fall of Math) Arrakis (working title) (from No Man’s Sky soundtrack) Debutante (from We Were Exploding Anyway) Taipei (from Wild Light) I Swallowed Hard, Like I Understood (from The Fall of Math) Radio Protector (from One Time for All Time) Encore: Safe Passage (from Wild Light) ------------------------------------------- Every song by 65daysofstatic
Friend of mine told me about this band about 2004. For some reason I didn't give it any time. More fool me, missed some seriously brilliant music for over a decade!
Seriously. When I heard they were doing the soundtrack I couldn't have thought of anyone better. It's already a band I listened to before hand for whenever I'm drawing and I know with the 65dos tunes I'm going to be lost in No Man's Sky.
Commander Aiden Pearce How is what No Man's Sky doing any different from how games like Diablo or .Hack in how they randomly generate dungeons using available assets? No Man's Sky is just doing it on a larger scale. I haven't seen anything new.
Kos Mos Maybe because they're indie? With diablo, it's a finite set of dungeons that are randomly rearranged. No man's sky is more like if you imagine Diablo with infinite dungeons, a little like the new nephalem rifts but with even more variance. For an indie to be able to achieve that is astronomical.
As december 2020, No Man's Sky won Best Ongoing game in the Game Awards. For that, I think it's time for Redemption. This songs kinda manifest the spirit that the game has shown in the las year. Hope ♡
+Gaminception he looked at the crowd and saw how much they like the idea of this games music, i want to see his face when he gets to look at the reports of how the game is doing once it releases
I was lucky enough to catch 65daysofstatic when they played Brisbane last week (after a false start thanks to a pesky fire alarm) - truly amazing experience! If you ever get the opportunity to see them play don't miss the chance.
These guys shred the guitar, the whole band killed it. There could be no different style of music that would fit this better space=psychedelic, it goes really good with no mans sky.
Thank you sean murry for bringing this band to my attention! It fits perfectly to my tast in music and to no man's sky! Man I havn't been so hyped for a game since ever!
31:52 THIS IS CLASSIC!!! And gave chills btw. Post-Rock Music is the best definition for an space game. Great choice of band, 65daysofstatic and God is an astronaut is one of the most best post-rock bands in my opinion.
They're all incredibly talented. The drummer is just killing it! So great! Cannot wait for the game to hit in June! Best of luck to you guys if you're reading : )
This was cool, and there's no doubting the band's musical ability...very talented. That last piece was pretty incredible!! I can see some goosebumps being raised when some of this kicks in while playing...
apache1234657 Well, clearly you failed to read the description. No one can help you or your ignorance for music and your lack of ability to submit basic internet searches. Good day.
It's a little less than 2 years from this performance and 2 full days from the release of No Man's Sky and I couldn't be happier from both the game and the album. INFINITE shout out to Hello Games and 65daysofstatic. What all you fine ladies and gents did has turned out to be as stunning as it looked from the get go. Thank you and cheers
From 30:10-31:00 is the most beautiful images i have ever seen in a game i love how the band captures the emotion so well with there music. I couldn't care less if all you do is explore its sad people have to be told what to do and were to go to have fun in a game now days.
I've watched almost every interview and bit of gameplay footage. I have to say that this is truly going to be a marvelous thing. There's too much to say with regards to its potential and like its exploratory nature, that potential is infinite. I can't wait to buy my PS4. And this is a current XB1 owner. ;)
What excites me is how they could endlessly iterate upon the same universe. Without the concern of lack of content, they can focus on adding and improving features. Im guessing that it will have some sort of cult following and the Devs have said that they plan to support it well into the future if it's successful.
trouper1127 The devs have said they would like to work on it even after its released, and that there wouldn't be DLCs which sounds as though development will continue even after release and it not cost extra which is nice!
I had a great time in Vegas and A Night Under No Man's Sky was a fun treat; Something different. Buddy on the keyboard was going HAM the whole time. lol
I love this so much. It sounds so pleasing and amazing, I literally almost feel asleep listening to this. I can see why Sean Murray likes this band and how it'll go with No Man's Sky.
Joshua Prosser I agree lol every trailer is like some timeless art piece to stare at its beyond beautiful my fav part is 30:07 till about 30:48 i really hope they use that music in the game it would be awesome music for an ocean world.
I love the back story about how this band 65daysofstatic is Sean Murray's favorite band and they listened to a mix of there music as they were programing the game every friday. And now this video here is the moment when his favorite band, now wrote new music for his game and are performing it live for him.
+Jared Miles lol I guess about 26:00 into the video the front man says the music is the stuff they were listing to while making the game. This is not the actual music written for the game.
Love the band an Hello games for making No man's sky, can't wait for the game an to just have the freedom that not many games allow you nowadays an it's in space too which I love
Radio Protector was a brilliant finale. I'm glad it was a concert. Less gameplay = more to explore when the game comes out. I'd rather explore the universe myself than watch most of it beforehand.
I was there is full super mario costplay 3rd row trolling everyone saying sony would be nothing without me. Everyone loved my "skit" and i never broke character. I played my hacked pspgo and psvita playing super mario 64 emulated to also troll all the people behind me in lines to the booths. Somehow this help me get jobs in the video game industry and I worked at 2kgames as a qa tester for borderlands 3. Im in the credits! What a journey its been
Anyone here ever play Homeworld the old PC game? This game, when in space, looks so like it (albeit slightly better graphics as it this is coming about over 15 years later!)... I love Homeworld, so now I'm even more excited!
Inspired by this space odyssey the band's creativity sparks. Still "Debutante" (which they recorded few years ago before any connection with No man's sky) is still my favorite. That kind of track that was looking for the perfect video match and found it.
This is what a video game company should look like. Hello Games isn't a bunch of people working for an old man in a suit who decides what they can do and can't. They're a small group of friends who just wants to make a good game. I love Hello Games because they're so down to earth. They do what they want even if it's not the thing that sells the most. I can't wait for No Man's Sky and I hope from the bottom of my heart it's good.
This game reminds me of a Nintendo game I got for my 10th BDay. You were in the cockpit of a space ship and you could warp to different solar systems and fly to different planets. I don't remember the title, but I loved that game. Now I find out that 65 Days is doing the sound track!?!? I have to have this game!
I guess I missed that part, haha I thought it was gonna be a one hour gameplay. I loved the concert I was just upset to not see them talk about the game. If you saw it live on twitch they never said that it was gonna be a concert haha
People who were actually at the PlayStation Experience were cheering them on and asking for an encore. The only people who were insulting them were the people on Twitch who were frustrated that the band wouldn't leave and were wondering when the gameplay was going to happen. I think it was just a lack of communication with the creators of No Man's Sky, because they never mentioned in PlayStation Experience that a band was going to be playing during their our of gameplay. (Sorry for all the writing) :/
The announcement video about a night under no mans sky mentioned no band. It was very misleading and a little disappointing because I liked the band but I was too annoyed about not getting what I expected to fully enjoy the stream.
surprised they didnt do asimov, its the best track on there, nice to see fall of math which math and retreat were their best imho since it was more rock than electronic(like 53 minutes in for example)
this gave me a new appreciation for music. I'm totally serious. I guess it's because they have no Singer I was able to just watch this and see how they make music fit perfectly with the game

I think it'd be cool if there were a multi player for this game where your party was on one massive ship and people filled roles like captain, gunner, medic, etc. Maybe you could deploy smaller fighters out of the big ship, and the roles also maintained for an away team that went down onto planets. Someone make that. Think "Planetside 2 meets FTL."
Fap P. Underboob This is not gameplay, this does not tell us anything about the game. Sean Murray clearly said hat he didn't want to reveal anything to us for some odd reason. This is more of a teaser not a gameplay, get it right haha :/
Seeing that begining video make me really sad. We all have a lot of fun of Hello Games and Murray especially, that we are forgot that even product is not that great as it turned out, but it was created by a nice people

Thank you! ^^
Friend of mine told me about this band about 2004. For some reason I didn't give it any time. More fool me, missed some seriously brilliant music for over a decade!
TechnoStickmen ty for the list
TechnoStickmen Thanks man!
Can't-miss moment from PlayStation Experience: A Night Under No Man's Sky, a full concert featuring 65 Days of Static bit.ly/1GNFchK
PlayStation Nation!
Guaoooooo
instead of a concert how about a release date?
***** lmao
Dallas C I thought you were a good fanboy, apparently I was wrong :(
65daysofstatic really sets the mood for this game :) I love this band
Hello games definitely made the right decision by having 65 days of static do the music for this game. It fits perfectly.
Seriously. When I heard they were doing the soundtrack I couldn't have thought of anyone better. It's already a band I listened to before hand for whenever I'm drawing and I know with the 65dos tunes I'm going to be lost in No Man's Sky.
are their any other bands that make music similar or somewhat similar to this??
No Mans Sky is gonna be the industry defining game next year! Looks awesome!
That is a pretty bold statement to make....
Kos Mos Well it's indie and the scale is ridiculous.
Commander Aiden Pearce How is what No Man's Sky doing any different from how games like Diablo or .Hack in how they randomly generate dungeons using available assets? No Man's Sky is just doing it on a larger scale. I haven't seen anything new.

Careful, they said that about Destiny and look how that turned out.
As december 2020, No Man's Sky won Best Ongoing game in the Game Awards. For that, I think it's time for Redemption. This songs kinda manifest the spirit that the game has shown in the las year. Hope ♡
1:12:04 Sean Murray is so happy :D
Yeah he does.
+Gaminception he looked at the crowd and saw how much they like the idea of this games music, i want to see his face when he gets to look at the reports of how the game is doing once it releases
+koolerpure
same, He will probably die if it get's over 1 million sold copies!
The Space Alligator yup
This whole comment thread is so sad.
And I'm here just to feed my hype for Beyond update of No Man's Sky.
65dos is a great band. It's awesome they're collaborating with Hello Games on No Man's Sky.
Music starts at 6:29.
Not suggesting that you skip all the stuff leading up to that point. It's just a bookmark for re-watching/listening.
31:52 THIS IS CLASSIC!!! And gave chills btw.
Post-Rock Music is the best definition for an space game.
Great choice of band, 65daysofstatic and God is an astronaut is one of the most best post-rock bands in my opinion.
ive had the honour of seeing these guys 3 time, they are sick, been a fan since fall of math was released
cant wait for this game
They're all incredibly talented. The drummer is just killing it! So great! Cannot wait for the game to hit in June! Best of luck to you guys if you're reading : )
+Jim Loftus The keyboardist made the show for me. The synth board was fawkin amazin too
august 9th
August 10th for the UK :(
+Wimpikid333 should be other way around cuz they're in the UK lol
I know, right. Ah, well, the release date's so close that I doubt an extra day will do much.
This was cool, and there's no doubting the band's musical ability...very talented. That last piece was pretty incredible!!
I can see some goosebumps being raised when some of this kicks in while playing...
Can't believe I'm only watching this in 2020! Amazing show!
Thank you Hello Games and 65daysofstatic and Playstation.
Badass music for a badass game!
hipster music for hipster gamers wearing hipster clothing
apache1234657 They are a good band that I often times listen to...That's why I clicked on the hour long concert of them playing. What about you?
***** I thought it was a hour long gameplay video, because it was on the PLAYSTATION youtube channel not a concert for a band I don't care about
apache1234657 Well, clearly you failed to read the description. No one can help you or your ignorance for music and your lack of ability to submit basic internet searches. Good day.
Hey guys Let me tell you a joke...
Xbox one!
ha
It's sad cause it's true! Good one!
LOL xD
XD
Best joke ever
Dude, these guys are awesome!!
Can not wait for the games music!!
Proper music!!! How lucky for you to have such a raw talent!!!!
Breathtaking!
After game release we just drop tears under listening this fantastic music what kept promises.
Ah man, great to hear 'I Swallowed Hard, Like I Understood'. It was the song that introduced me to the band way back when!!
From 30:10-31:00 is the most beautiful images i have ever seen in a game i love how the band captures the emotion so well with there music. I couldn't care less if all you do is explore its sad people have to be told what to do and were to go to have fun in a game now days.

I'm good with my PS4, though I must admit, the PC looks better and better every day in many ways. I have no hate. We're all gamers.
*****
Precisely. I have a 2 year old now so I'm often in and out. A PC is something I've considered though. Maybe later on.
EPIC. Very much looking forward to this game!
Watching such a small team create something like this is so inspiring
I had a great time in Vegas and A Night Under No Man's Sky was a fun treat; Something different. Buddy on the keyboard was going HAM the whole time. lol
GAMES GONE GOLD
So close...
Hyyype
I love this so much. It sounds so pleasing and amazing, I literally almost feel asleep listening to this. I can see why Sean Murray likes this band and how it'll go with No Man's Sky.

+Boris McSatan it's bootyfull

We love you Hello Games

thumbs up for thoughts listening to this in the new year !!
I'm proud of them! Best live band ever!
Its amazing how far in the comments you can get with a video this length!
You guys, are the next revolution of gaming!
Did I mean *evolution? :D
And #65dos , don't worry about the crowd not going wild, they are gamers and all insecure :D
Stock brot Also the mics are on stage and it's difficult to pick up an audience sometimes so it sounds like nobody cares.
Nothing short of fantastic.
this was beautiful. Awesome sound for an awesome game. I want to discover the infinity of space right now :D
Joshua Prosser I agree lol every trailer is like some timeless art piece to stare at its beyond beautiful my fav part is 30:07 till about 30:48 i really hope they use that music in the game it would be awesome music for an ocean world.
65 days of static is a band from another world... love it
In 2023, finally we reache the deepsst limit of the sky, thank you hello games.

2021 boys
what a quiet crowd, I could sence the sarcasm when he said "gee, thanks a lot"
Great gameplay...............

Elite?
Haha, yep!
I am immensely excited for this game! More so than most triple A titles coming out this year!!!
This drummer will have a great career with or without this band! So good!
Heatdeath Infinitysplitter is what I would like to play when I reach the center
Oh Paul.
Such a charmer.
FCKN SPACE OPERA .... Takes me on a journey, lovely stuff.
And finally. August 2016 - No Man's Lie.
Sorry. 'One' man's lie.
As much as he made up for it in the end, he lost a lot of peoples trust. The games redeemed itself though and has added a lot of what he promised
Justin Barnett Hey at least the music is awesome!
They said it was a concert idk what any of you expected lol.
I guess I missed that part, haha I thought it was gonna be a one hour gameplay. I loved the concert I was just upset to not see them talk about the game. If you saw it live on twitch they never said that it was gonna be a concert haha

FRONT ROW BABY!
Cheers !!
surprised they didnt do asimov, its the best track on there, nice to see fall of math which math and retreat were their best imho since it was more rock than electronic(like 53 minutes in for example)
They weren't written yet. At the time only Super Moon was a finished track.
Don't shut up, but take my money !
18:25 really reminds me of M4 Part II by Faunts (Mass Effect end credits music)
I'd quite like to visit the town of Obscurity.
Esto es lo que viene siendo, un juego bien hecho.
From Humble Beginnings!
What if this becomes the new Minecraft?
***** ahmm.. for me its not a bad thing , minecraft is a very succesful game
*When
I expect this game to if nothing else, have a cult following of exploration gamers
Pundek
really hard to beat you will have to get all the 8 year olds to be interested into space
You know I didnt even notice this was a concert lol, was having a good laugh over this thinking it was more about the game, but seems I was wrong lol.
Makes me think KOAN Sound's music might fit alright with this game too, quite a nice ambience to it as well, but still with those fast paced drums. :)
That drum guys a beast.
+Oscar Gonzalez Their keyboardist is super intense too
this gave me a new appreciation for music. I'm totally serious. I guess it's because they have no Singer I was able to just watch this and see how they make music fit perfectly with the game
It's seriously the best music to daydream to. Their tunes are just so lively with a personality.
DooMest Yeah and without lyrics i started to really pay attention to the instruments and the talent.
25:58 Install a Beak In The Heart That Clucks Time in Arabic is beautiful
They play 65 Days of Static - EOTWS_Variation1 ? Is my favorite song of the No Man's Sky !
badass team
No mans sky + listening to Interstellar soundtrack = awesome
this is like a human version of LSD, vorking for them, has to be awesome ! LOVE IT! Never seen anyone so drunk with music, kinda want to experience it myself.
so No Man Sky is going to have a soundtrack which is basically the music i already listen to :D awesome
very sound of animals fighting
I love PLAYSTATION OMFG
kudos for 65daysofstatic - the music suits the game :-D
No Mans Sky seems like its going to be a very very hard game to ignore. Keep you eyes on this title I have a huge feeling this game is going to be extremely massive so pre order you copy as soon as possible.
already got it👌twice✌
a great game ;)
Anyone know the name of the song that starts around 46:30? This whole audio-visual experience was awesome. So glad their albums are on itunes. :)
it's taipei from the album wild light
Hello games es de mis compañias favoritas desde ahora, ubisoft lo contrario
I do really hope all this great songs will be included in the actual game.. :-)
only 2 the rest are from older albums
of course an entire album was made exclusively for it so....
+Kyubey soooooo this game gonna be great however, with the songs in as well.. :-) :-)
Power
This games looks so sick
Was expecting this to be about an hour of gameplay footage. Not a band jamming to some tunes with some footage in the background.
***** Will have a look on there, thanks for the tip.
+Queen Elsa Like if someone whit the game so hyped just gonna show it.
Still waiting on that gameplay, I hope it comes out soon.
This is gameplay, it just hasn't shone off some of the mechanics yet.
Fap P. Underboob This is not gameplay, this does not tell us anything about the game. Sean Murray clearly said hat he didn't want to reveal anything to us for some odd reason. This is more of a teaser not a gameplay, get it right haha :/
Cory Collins haha I guess so but the other dude was referring to actualy gameplay
Dude there are so many Gameplay want links?
Yes we want links
Seeing that begining video make me really sad. We all have a lot of fun of Hello Games and Murray especially, that we are forgot that even product is not that great as it turned out, but it was created by a nice people
