As a Serious Running Coach, I'll sometimes forget to comment in my athletes' spreadsheets for 3 to 4 days straight. That way they'll think, wow, my coach must be off on some important adventure and I better run harder to get his attention.

Credentials? I was just coached myself, got everything wrong for two years straight and now tell my one 'client' (friend) to not do what I did 👌but it's paid off, I am now in a position to tell multiple people to not do what I did. You can achieve anything if you consistently fuck up for long enough!
My favorite thing about coaches is when they get into physiology and biochemistry. The goobledygook that pours out is hilarious. Can’t wait to hear the Serious Coach’s spin on that! 😉

Attention All Prospective Clients: I’ve run a BQ -15, at Boston, at age 55. Will charge only half of this guy.
Well in that case, I BQ’d on my 1st marathon 3 yrs ago at age 69, ran Boston the last 2 yrs -re-qualifying there both times, and I’ll charge half of the half you’re charging😂😂 After next April, I’ll pay any prospective clients to take my advice 😂😂😂

I'm not taking any coaching from someone who doesn't incorporate eggs as the main part of their diet
As a serious runner, I’ve never bought that Citgo photo because I’ve never had a serious photographer take the photo! They always catch me with my feet together, looking like I’m shuffling, rather than the beautiful stride I try so hard to fake whenever approaching them. As every serious runner knows, there is a serious way to take running photos. 🎥🏃🏼♀️💨

LOL, I know, the number of running coaches with not a whole lot of experience is funny. And anyway, Citgo sign pictures - you are lucky if they catch you in front. Only one year out of 6 have I had a Citgo sign pic and it was the year I failed most epicly (meaning, went out too fast, and then death marched to the finish). So I was miserable AF in front of that Citgo sign.
LOL My first time I looked like a zombie on Boylston which my “friends” video’d. The 2nd time I made sure to smile and look triumphant even though I had the aftermath of Norovirus 😂

How long the age can run long distance running?
I got into ultra running after talking to an race volunteer who only started running at 65, and started ultras in his 70s! I realized this was my path forwards in my 40s- I can do this MUCH longer than killing myself in 5ks!

As a serious runner, I do annoy my girlfriend to recite the sentences written by me on my videos, so I broaden the impact to potential women customers. After all, running is for everyone.
