2020 49er World Championships - Medal Race

The biggest event in the year leading up to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games see’s over 150 teams from around the world compete at the 2020 World Championships in Geelong, Australia.
Many teams are competing for the worlds title and also for the right to represent their country's later this year in Tokyo.

yes, although they probably had some experience from the Sidney to Hobart races, etc., amazing racers..I found that a LOT of time on the water is the only way to get to understand your boat and how it behaves in the wind. I never got enough training, so we always lost to the same people...but they were really good..
