- As Catherine, Princess of Wales recovers from abdominal surgery, King Charles III is preparing to undergo a "corrective procedure" on an enlarged prostate, Buckingham Palace has said. The Palace has advised that the King's condition is benign, and that he will be out of action for a short period. He is currently staying in Balmoral Castle, and is reportedly in "good spirits". Princess Catherine's condition has not been specified, but her hospital stay is expected to last up to two weeks, and she may not return to public engagements until Easter.
