I would say that Lay would be the richest because he is really popular in China and that is a hugeeeee market. People might think that Baekhyun is the richest because of his sales but tend to forget that Lay sells million of albums in a wider market. But well the truth is that we will never know how rich they are because all of their investments tend to be private like sehun and Chanyeol who have bought some really expensive buildings in Korea. Also this reminds me of Jaejoong who is really rich and that doesnt depend much on his album sales so everything is uncertain.

This data is silly...... Lay is one of the biggest acts in the biggest country of the world. Multiple solo albums, he is a producer, song writer, multiple movies and dramas, high end brand deals and CFs, TV shows and his own company. He gets more money from SM too.

I can definitely say Lay is the richest and the amount mentioned here is absolutely incorrect. There was a post made on Weibo for the top 20 richest entertainer till 2020-21 in China and Lay was in top 10. I don’t remember the exact figure but even the celeb who was ranked 20 had the figure of more than 60M USD so I am sure Lay’s was much more since he was in top 10. I remember this very clearly coz my bias was in the list as well with a net worth of 150M USD so the number is definitely incorrect.

They made a decision that hurted a lot of people, but as we can see, they are still standing and their artists are still relevant. That means, it depends on how their relationships go and works. *Trust and be good for every negotiations.*
SM gives alot of opportunity for their artists (actors, soloists, idols). We do not just conclude something as we don't know what's behind closed door why their artists left like... Former exo members and f(x), Henry...

despite Baekhyun being the best solo artist, a huge percentage of his profits go to sm, not him. Im sorry but this is generally wrong. Idk where you got your numbers but I think they do not consider their contract terms correctly. The only good think in their contract is that
they get 70% concert revenue. From concert/fanmeeting revenue only EXO members should have around 8-10 million each minimum (depending on if they could attand), then there is albums and brand deals and solo and sub group activities probably another 1-4 million minimum depending on the person. Chanyeol and Sehun have EXO-SC too, Minseok and Jongdae do EXO-CBX, ofc the solos. Baekhyun is the second richest, no. 1 has to be Yixing. The money he made in China goes mostly to himself, he is probably with all brand deals and such (bc he has a tone) at minimum 50 million. Most probably a lot higher though.
