My grandmother’s voicemail messages are added in at the beginning and the end.
This song has meant so much to me from the moment the first verse was shared by Ryan and will continue to affect me long after it’s release today. It really is such a true reflection of how I personally feel and what it’s like to live with and take care of a loved one with dementia. Watching her decline little by little through all of the stages is a little heartbreaking every single day. It’s music like this that makes it’s a little easier, and helps provide some closure with the inevitable. I can’t thank you enough Ryan and everyone on your team that helped put this absolute masterpiece together.

Beautiful video. I’m currently making one for my Grandma. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2019, but I know she’s had it much longer than her diagnosis. 😞 You don’t know me, but I send love and light to you. 💚
