The more you actually just watch the dude talk and interact the more you realize the media coverage on him is hilarious. I don’t much care for the nails or crying in the stands but at the end of the day he’s an elite talent & id take him on my team & his teammates swear by him. I didn’t like everything baker did either but he can play & his teammates swear by him

Bears fans have never seen this guy talk. They only heard the negative rumors. I heard his teammates all got his back. He was very humble and admitted his mistakes during pro day instead of blaming his receivers. Once bears fans get to know him and he starts beating the packers, they will love him.

Michael Jordan won 6 championships in Chicago leading his team with an intense, sometimes even toxic, competitive arrogance. If you’re a Bears fan and you don’t already like this kid you’re an idiot. This is the greatest opportunity we’ve had in a long time at a position that we have been historically inept at. We have pieces in place and a good GM with a great mindset on team building. The coach is another story but continuity is important so we’ll see.

Caleb is smart because he considers the questions before reacting to them. That shows he has foresight to projected outcomes and consequences. Very mature disposition. Love this guy already
Genuine answers. And in those off-script moments, he still maintains composure and keeps his Oline from being ransacked like they were during the season.

Justin was traded away because of multiple things. He had 3 years to show he had it and was average to below average depending on the stats. He had 1 more year on his rookie contract so that window was closing, they would be forced to make a decision soon, and the Bears didn't want to be in a position like the Giants and Daniel Jones. Trading him away, offers the Bears 4 to 5 years of another rookie contract which frees up money to go out and sign guys like Keenan Allen. The owning the #1 pick. They had it last year and traded it away. This year they have it again and Caleb is right there to take. Add to this the fact CHI has never had a top tier QB, the GM wants to make history.

What's really impressive about Caleb Williams is that with his 30 TD's and 5 INT's, he did that with NO wide receivers projected as Top 19 draft picks for the wide receiving position. So, if he had any stud receivers, imagine his numbers inflated a ton. That's what really needs to be said about how truly amazing he could be in the pro league. He took average guys and posted some impressive numbers. Give this guy Keenan Allen and DJ Moore and watch out. This team would be dangerous.
He was also 0-4 with 5int and 4TD against the 4 teams he played with a top 100 defense

I love that he came right out and said what he did wrong with the receivers regarding missed throws. CW knows that game and wants to win. Despite all the BS in the media and his dad, once he laces it up, I expect nothing but greatness from this kid. He wants to be a pocket QB, but can buy time as well. If we cut down the fumbles this kid never quits looking downfield and broken plays can capitalize and has a fast release with touch and throws his receivers open. This is real QB play. His movement in the pocket is like Rodgers. Can’t wait to see him in year two of the same offense further up the road. Hear him talk about always perfecting his craft too. Camps, and sessions with sports science companies comparing release metrics and arm angles and how he compares to the highest ranked other QBs. He cares and has the tools to be more than talk. Just a tad short. I know I know. Sorry 😊

Caleb will have the luxury of getting something JF1 never had- an offensive line, depth at the wr and te position, a better OC, and an elite running back in swift. They set him up for success and fields up for failure.
Personally, swift is not elite. The bears are not a top 10 team yet on paper. But Caleb may pop off like Stroud and change that.

Bears added Keenan Allen, Kevin Byard, Swift, have a good defense. Here comes Caleb and bowers/Alt/odunze at 9. What a team coming up
Don't need Bowers at all. Alt or Odunze won't be there at 9th pick. We need a young elite WR. Moore and Allen aren't that young. Trade up either way. Might as well trade up to 4th pick to get MHJ. It's almost a given that the top 3 QBs will be drafted in the top 3 picks. Specially, if the Vikings trade up to the third pick to get their QB.
@@joehollywood7236i could not disagree with you more. This WR class is too deep to be trading up for one, and Bowers would be a game changer for our offense. I love Kmet but he’s a traditional in-line TE. Bowers is the best H/Flex TE ive ever seen come through legitimate Aaron Hernandez (just looking at his on field ability nothing to do with his personal life) type talent and ability. He can completely open a game by himself in a way we’ve rarely if ever seen a TE be able to. He can play in the slot, outside, in-line tight end, wing tight end, or even line up in the backfield. He nearly single handedly beat Alabama the season before last. IMO take Bowers if he’s there at 9, if not then i’d be okay with Alt or Odunze, but if all 3 are gone i’d rather trade back and try to capitalize on one of these teams getting antsy about getting their QB, hopefully causing them to overpay and swap us their first and maybe throw in a 3rd rounder

@@OrlandoSoto1111 I believe that the time is right to attempt a trade for Justin Jefferson. Maybe for a 2025 2nd and 3rd? Or 2025 1st? Then we trade him and the 9th pick for the Cardinals 4th pick. Everybody gets what they want. The Bears can pay a rookie MHJ but not Jefferson. The Cardinals can pay Jefferson about $30 M per year which is about what it would take.

You know he didn't really come out in the press to address it much either but after hearing him today though, I'm all in on him.
Yeah it will come down to what happens next season... If he comes out with an amazing year I think he will win over the JF1 fans but if he struggles it will add fuel to the fire dividing fans further, it would add even more of JF1 wins the starting spot in Pittsburgh and he balls out.

Haven’t been this hyped since the offseason before the 2018 season started. Could just feel like the Bears would be good when they signed ARob, traded for Mack. But now?
