Cool video! However I would not say the new developments in Leland are less expensive than Wilmington. If you look at the last phase of the lots in Compass Pointe, the lots are close to $300,000…build an $800,000 home and you’re over a million. I’m sure there are cheaper places but…
Compass Pointe is WAY overpriced. You could find a house in Landfall for $1.3m or thereabouts. Much, much nicer, near the beach, and in the middle of the action.
@@thekochdieselskils5506 Thanks for your point of view. I've wanted to live in Compass Pointe for 10 years now but due to personal circumstance could not. Hopefully headed there soon. I love it because of the warm, friendly residents, the resort feel and the very many friends I have in the area. I am not interested in being near the beach or in the "middle of the action." I was in the middle of everything when I lived in NYC and CA but now am looking to live near my friends and live somewhere that feels like a resort and is a bit slower. That's what's great....there are different places for different people everywhere.
@8:56 some of the construction is fine. some of the "stuff" they are building out here is upsetting. becuase they are simply "stuffing" as many people in here as they can. "they told me it was daft to build a castle in the swamp, but i built it all the same! that one sank into the swamp. so i built another! that one burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp! so i built a third! and thats the castle your going to get laddy!" watch.
