    hey can you show us how you made your old intro with the text stroke effect, where the lines of the text animate?

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety

      IF its the fire one, that was done in a different program. I used After Effects and the Saber plugin, but I can show how that's done in AE if anyone is interested.

    clone is a pain for me. I had to chose another pic as BG. ty for sharing mate :)

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety

      And that’s always an option once you’ve cut the subjects out. Lots of photographs will go around and shoot backgrounds for that specifically. As long as the lighting and colors match up enough, i think it works great. Or you can have it contrast for a unique look. Both are great options.

    I hope that Resolve 18 would be have magic mask or some other tool to make masking easier in Fusion.

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety +2

      Im still surprised that it isnt in fusion.

    • @jandwstudios9729

      You export the alpha from magic mask in the color page. Not exactly elegant but...
      czcams.com/video/cQlkXwZl4mk/video.html

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s definitely an option.

    • @JoseSpenaN
      @JoseSpenaN Před 2 lety

      There is a roto tool option y polygon tool. I do not know well how to use it. The other option is use color tab to magic mask. Nevertheless, I think with polygon tool and doble masking you can get way better results even on that hair.
      As well as the flares and grain I would do it on Edit tab and color tab respectively. But this tut is a 360 Fusion solution that works GREAT

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety +1

      @@JoseSpenaN id plan to dive more into those options. I spend most of my time in fusion, but i think davinci can do a lot more. Thanks!

    Is there away to delete some points when making a mask or back up a couple points incase you mess up?

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety

      Cmd-z or ctrl-z to undo points or go back while masking.

  • @harvardkarbodie
    @harvardkarbodie Před 2 lety

    I don't understand why an additional background is added, as the last step, at 21:57.

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety

      Its just for flow management. The resolution of a comp is set by the background node. This may be different depending on your photo resolution and as you add more effects into the pipe, having a baseline will keep things consistent. I have a beginner series on my channel that goes into this more if that helps.

  • @1n081
    @1n081 Před 2 lety

    Is it possible to somehow make this a single node tool? Like the other helpful tools you already put out :)

    • @CBSuper
      @CBSuper  Před 2 lety

      Although the process could be shortened by making a tool, some things like clone paint and masking dont work well in macros. I’ll look into it.

  • @nokiaairtel5311
    @nokiaairtel5311 Před 2 lety

    Major takeaway: you need a clean plate(clean background) for this trick to work :(

      Clean plate is always helpful if you have it.
