You make it sound so easy, I've been through all this multiple times and epic customer service is trash and the same with how the game is setup. Why not have an option directly on PS4 when you launch fortnite to change email? Oh well they're trash and I give up.

Ive made an email for my epic games account years ago back when fortnite started. I was a kid I dont know what the email was and epic games is blocking most of it out with an * so how am I supposed to request a email change if I don’t know my old email. And that’s literally all they keep asking. To enter my current account email that I have no clue what it is.

I'm so frustrated. The epic games website LITERALLY says "if you no longer have access to your email account, you can request an email change", I requested a ticket for an email change, and guess what? They keep sending me emails to the fking email I just said I had NO access to.... I've proved I'm the real owner, and they just keep saying the same shit.

Had the same problem, sign out, go to can’t login-forgot email then do the steps like putting in ur new email and stuff, you have to remember your old email though because it asks for the name, then they should ask you some stuff when they reply to the email you put as ur new one and then after 2-3 emails together it should be fixed!!

My problem is that someone hacked my Xbox account a while ago and I didn’t have an epic account paired to it, they created one for it, I can’t take over my account or change the ign but I can still use it and everything else, I knew the guy who did it through Xbox and from what I’ve heard through messaging his old account a while ago was that he was arrested for other unrelated issues and had given the Xbox to his nephew

Dawg. I wanna contact epic and because of the fact that my mail is literally non existent anymore (it’s completely lost from years ago) I can’t even contact them unless I change my mail and that’s literally what I can’t do because I need to enter a code that is being sent to the mail that I have lost. All I can say about losing it is your kinda fucked, especially if you don't have your account linked to a steam account (or whatever you use). It happens and it sucks cause I can't change that old email either

Hey thanks for making this video, I didn't even know you could submit a request I thought I was shit out of luck. My original email associated with my epic account was hacked years ago, I was still able to log in through Steam and play n whatnot, but I was deathly afraid that my hacker would change the password and/or sell the account if he was into that sorta thing lol.

I also think that it is dumb that in order to change your email to a new one you need to verify the change through your old one. When I got hacked and went to change my email for every other service , whether that be my social media accounts, finance accounts, or other gaming accounts, it prompted me to verify the change through my new email. That's how it should be in my opinion.
I have the same problem but instead of my account being hacked it got blocked because when I was in elementary school I used my school account as my epic email and when I was in middle school they blocked the account so I have no way of resolving this problem until now I think 💀
I answered all his questions good he also sent me and email to the email which the eoic games was created I verified it was me to then he say he didn't have enough proofs that I was the owner

How did you get your account back, I keep showing my Microsoft purchase history and all that but apparently it's not enough proof to prove its my actual account it's so frustrating, and usually their reasons time is like 2-3 days, just keep checking at least twice a day morning/night everyday until you get a email they take a long time that is also annoying especially when your trying to get your account back but they just tell you they can't help you lol

This is stupid. Are they using AI to change the e-mail without verifying is the one who requested is truly the owner? My account was probably hacked this way. Someone changed the e-mail to their own by this method.

my account has been hacked and my email has been changed i found out when i tried to link my lego account and wasnt able to link it because the email was changed. i contacted epic horrible support team and they said okay we will ask you some security questions . I gave them every single information about the account from email to my bank account details . then in reply they said in order to change your gmail account we have send you a verification code to the email that is currently associated with my epic( which is not mine ). i told them again that dear epic use your dumb brain the whole reason that im contacting you is that my email has been changed and the email currently associated with my epic does not belong to me . And then epic support replied thank you for your patience but in order to change your gmail we send you a verification code . Again i told them the same thing and they gave me same reply . And its been a month that im stuck in this loop with same replies.
