Hey, thanks for watching! This time I added maps throughout the video to try and give a feel for the city layout, however I’m not sure if it’s a little over the top/unnecessary. Do you find maps in videos helpful, or would you prefer no maps and just look at a map yourself afterwards?
It think maps help so can see which attractions are near each other. Thanks for the helpful video :)
@@louisehorsfall9400 Thanks so much for the feedback! It's good to hear it's helpful. I'll keep including them :)

As a native of Cambridge, thank you for looking around my home city. You covered it very well. However, I now live on the South coast and there's no way I'd want to live in Cambridge now.
Thanks very much, i'm really pleased you thought we covered it well 🙂 I would imagine once you have lived by the sea it would be difficult to move back inland... Thanks for watching!

Hello from Cambridge,I am surprised , that you do not mention, Girton and Queens Colleges, nice camera work though . Jay Cambridge
Thanks for the suggestions 🙂 We didn't get to explore as much of the colleges as we would have liked as during our visit most were still closed to visitors. Thanks for watching Jay!

Thank you! And thanks for watching
How didn't we make your list ?? Unlike the walking and punting tours, we made it to the final in the East of England tourism awards for "Best Experience" in the East of England, and were then Highly commended making us (officially) the best tour in the City !!
Aw sorry guys, I never came across you while researching our trip. That's a shame, I just looked at your website now and I'm sure we would have loved a tour in one of your Model Ts! 🙂
@@OurTravelPlace Maybe next time. 🎩👍🏻
Get a better marketing staff.
@@organboi No need to as they already get fully booked each week. By the look of your channel you should maybe get a better hobby ! LOL !!
Thank u so much u helped me a lot
hi, may I know for how many days did you visited cambridge for the places mentioned?
Of course! We spent 4 days in Cambridge, plus we then had an extra day to do a day trip to Duxford. I don't think people typically visit Cambridge for quite as long as that though.
There is a film on Netflix about Cambridge
ALHAMDULILLAH, MASHA ALLAH..
Is it the real British voice speed ? I think it is too fast for me to understand the meanings through the subtitles. My brain can not react so fast! But this is my first time watching this kind of video. Maybe I can adapt it after I watch a lot of videos.I am not a native speaker.
Hello! I am a naturally fast speaker (I never realised that until making CZcams videos!). I am now making an effort to speak more slowly when I record voice over, but when I made this video I didn't realise I was speaking so quickly! Thank you for letting me know you found it too quick to understand. I will remember this when I record the next one.
I,m most interetig students those educated part of corresponding college accuontig in bussiness and management ilive in africa especialy somaliland i need yuo to give me more in formation abuot that
Any guest hse nr the Cambridge University n
We tend to use booking.com for accommodation. You can filter by distance to the city centre. We stayed at a studio near Jesus Green because we wanted somewhere walking distance but that included a parking space, as we didn't fancy having to navigate parking in the city centre. There will be plenty of options though 🙂
You didn't mention about Cambridge Central Mosque
Thanks for the suggestion! I just googled it and it's a little further out than we went so never came across it
@@OurTravelPlace I'm coming from India and i Will be there from 2nd to 11th September out there. Coming to visit Cambridge University... I work for Cambridge University Press from India. Let's meet there if possible.
@@OurTravelPlace it's a company trip for us and we are coming to explore our there.
I hope you have a good trip! Hopefully you will be able to fit in plenty of exploring around your work 🙂
@@OurTravelPlace Thank you... I want to visit Lords Stadium also... Can I visit that in half day because i need to save time and i do not want to waste 1 day... And could you please give me travelling cost for that... From Cambridge University to Lords Stadium
Lovely vlog, but too much sibilance on the recording. I think you need a better mic. Subbed!
Totally agree, this was recorded on my first mic and wasn't particularly great sounding! I have recently bought a better mic which I think (hope!!) sounds nicer overall, although tbh I think there could still be too much sibilance, even if it has improved 🤷♀️🤔 Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!
Cambridge is a great place for bus spotting, I think, and with the 32 electric buses you are not causing any pollution....
oldest uni, place for highly achieving students.
ALWAYS OXBRIDGE
I look at the Cambrige and I think that universities tear young people away from reality, and that it is impossible to return to reality after university illusions. As a result, few people in the world are capable of solving the problems that have accumulated before humanity. The best teacher is life itself. Philosophers, historians, lawyers and journalists must work in seven different businesses, communicate with a wide range of people and learn a living and practical psychology. Academic psychology is only suitable for intellectual narcissists to entertain their peers over cups of coffee. A practicing intellectual person does not need forty subjects studied in universities, but much less. So you need to come to the university once a year for a week or two not only to take a small number of exams (one exam per year), but above all to communicate with intelligent people who help to systematize the experience gained during discussions. . It is necessary to implement the principle of Socrates: it is not necessary to put ready-made theories in a person's brain, but to let theories be born in his brain. So we do not need conferences, but debates on questions from real life. And to have food for discussion, you have to immerse yourself in real life, and not be in an artificial university environm.
One Cambridge PhD who became a UK professor attacked and broke the nose of female colleague. Along with that he extorted this female colleague for 1000 pounds sterling and humiliated this female colleague in public places.
What I find truly worrying is that there are so many poor people begging in Cambridge. Even young women, who were clearly psychotic. And not many people seem to care.
When I tried to find a police(wo)man, I couldn't find one on the street.
That is what you get with rightwing governments. DIvest in the people and give it to multinationals. Do some gaslighting to get peoples view off the real problems (greenhouse effect is one) and focus on a non-issue like refugees. In general they focus on those in need, weak and make them responsible for either the problems in the country or they are fully responsible for their own problems, like these poor people that need our help. So we divest in them, making problems worse and the misery that gets worse and worse can be blamed on other people that are poor also. Awful and always succesful, surely when the press is rightwing dominated/conservative and go for easy to understand stories rather than in depth and with empathy.
超少子化で、学校閉鎖廃校ですか? 時代の流れです。
Yet again another video about Cambridge that does not mention the real Cambridge. The university is approximately 2% of what there is to see and do in Cambridge... Cambridge hosts so many other great things to see and do, none of which are mentioned here.
She covered perhaps most places a visitor would wish to see in Cambridge. Where would you suggest? Get knifed by some chavs outside The Ship in King's Hedges?
@@robertjones8083 nothing wrong with The Ship or Arbury, They are free from pretentious guitar-playing wankers that talk gobshite...
@@malbig2344 Cheers for the French Mal Big, I actually live in Arbury and just because I play an instrument that doesn't make me a pretentious twat or have you spent your whole life avoiding music?
@@robertjones8083 just pretentious guitarists.
Moronic "music." It totally ruins the magnificent video and images.
If you have lost interest in life and you enjoy flat featureless vistas and people then you have hit the jackpot .Be prepared to collapse due to acute boredom it is an extremely boring town I have never been to a town as nondescript save your money or waste it in Cambridge. Good luck!!!!
Hello do you have an email address we can contact about an upcoming campaign we'd like to work with you on? Thanks

So not everyone is well behaved in Cambridge.
