Going back through these videos (wish will still did them) and seeing total biscuit was like damn. he was such a good guy to have in the gaming sphere and used to love his reviews. shame he is gone
I agree! I would love to see more content from wil! Also, totalbiscuit was great and we didn't deserve him.
BTW he was only about 23ish here...totally thought he was in his at least mid 30s...but a very funny perfect funny brit
Was NOT ready for TB. That hit me right in the feels. Rest in peace, mate

@@JAppJohnAndrewPatrickPeters that is unfortunately not accurate as john bain was born in 1984, which would make him 40 if he was still with us 😢. this was uploaded 10 years ago which mean he was probably 29 when this was filmed. i still miss him 😭
RIP John
John was truly a man worth grieving for. He inspired so many people to get into the industry, and his impact on CZcams as a whole will never truly go away. May he rest in peace.
He's the reason i started playing board games
yeah it sucks that TotalBiscuit is dead.
Rest With Love John
everybody go on terraria marathon
"No, actually, you wont. He's telling you to re-roll" God I lost my shit at that point.
I knew immediately that TotalBiscuit was trying to be very coy with the telling of the re-roll xD. It was def one of those 'Wah-wha-whaaaaaaa" fails when it took Wil lto flat out say " No, you won't" xD
16:00 To watch that glorious moment all over again, just in case you didn't get the message. ;)
@@nikkis.2066 not really, he says that he can punch everyone when obviously he can't.
@@orkunakman1541 Monster in Tokyo punches everyone, guy. He was in Tokyo. _Obviously_ he can. Hence the entire reason in the first place that TB asked for a reroll -- no reason to make him reroll the punch if the monster can't punch, like you claim lel. Come back in another four years when you understand.
It's his natural British politeness. It makes it hard to tell his orders from his suggestions.
I knew I remembered he was in this episode.
RIP John Peter Bain
aka TotalBiscuit
July 8, 1984 - May 24, 2018
Damn... I never knew he was only a month older than me.
I’m a day older than him. I had no idea
wow too young
Lol get rekt
Totalbiscuit's accent combines the roundness of Newcastle, the loudness of Scotland, the festering resentment of Yorkshire, and the condescension of West London to deliver the ultimate pan-British insult.
You deserve a medal for this masterful comment.
in other words: he's fake.
This is beautiful
Solo Falcon1138 He is from Spennymoor then moved to Hull for work iirc and has incredible power in his voice from talking constantly for the past five years.
Solo Falcon1138 He's a Geordie who's spent a large part of his life outside Newcastle
This is the video I first saw you John. RIP.
When you randomly watch old boardgaming videos and stumble upon TB... RIP John.
I did
That newspaper at 10:31 is cool. The Japanese is actually pretty accurate. The headline at the top says "Time Lapse," the big vertical one on the right says "Who will be the next king?" and the vertical one to the left of that says "Is Wil going to lose again?" So it wasn't just a half-assed generic graphic. +1 respect
The newspaper at 18:28 says "The winner of the game" (cut off, so presumably followed by "is ___") and "Felicia Gone Missing." +2 respect
+3 respect.
the japanese newspaper says:
the header: "Who will be the next king?"
the smaller header "Is Will going to lose again?"
For my gaming group, this has supplanted Settlers of Catan as our go-to pickup game to such an extent that I often refer to it as "Settlers of Japan."
"Run! It's Godzilla!"
"It looks like Godzilla, but, due to international copyright laws, it's not."
"Still, we should run like it is Godzilla!!"
"Though it isn't."
Beat me to it.
Michael Meyers is the best.
Michael meyers? Wtf
allither Thats the actors name of Austin Powers
4 Awesome People + 4 Beards + Kaiju = Glorious
Rest in peace totalbiscuit
HYPERION T-Shirt FTW! All hail Handsome Jack
Lillith's Vampires "Hail to the king, baby!"
The Amazing KMan avenged sevenfold's hail to the king blares in the background.
One of the best episodes where everyone just sticks to their characters.
Why is this show NOT on tv somewhere? It is so well done and legitimately hilarious.
WheezyWaiter and TotalBiscuit in one video?! AWESOME!
rip john, still missed. Loved your work.
I love these tabletop videos. Great presentation of the game, rules and everything! Especially that you show the cards, so that we can read the text. And showing the score.
Asaloy I love watching these for these exact reasons! Especially the hype Wil gives the games in the beginning!
never seen Totalbiscuit in person.. glad to see u guys playin kings of tokyo.. i love this game.
The expansion makes it even better. Evolutions+the Almighty Pandakai!
It's funny I played King of Tokyo today with friends and won with the king too :D
I am so happy to see Craig on Tabletop! :D
Who else just (re-)watched this, after Craig mentioned the episode in his latest vlog?
Need to see him play
The guy with the beard won. Who knew?
I DIDNT KNOW YOU KNOW WHEEZY! I’ve been watching him for years this is SO awesome!
Loved the series, shame it's gone. Loved TB, shame he is gone :(
watching this because of TotalBiscuit. :)
Eliskor me too mate.. though i bet your comment was made in happier mood
TB has one of modern era's greatest speaking voices. He really ought to try acting. Fantastic Star Wars villain voice.
I miss this show... Wil is the best!
the production and effects in this game are awesome! great work guys!
Rest In Peace TotalBiscuit
This group was excellent. Something about Wheezy is so adorable. The Kawaii King of Tokyo, yay!
Omg. After 35 yrs on this earth, I'm just now venturing into the awesomeness of obscure board games that tend to put the classic board games to shame. This youtube channel is now my all time favorite. I really hope you are being paid handsomely for advertising these games since its because of you I plan on purchasing a truckload of your featured games. Way to go Will! King of Tokyo is officially on my shopping list.
An extended version of this would probably be the most epic thing ever. I feel like I missed several good jokes that were just skimmed over.
RIP Total Biscuit ( John Bain ) 1984 - 2018.
Guys... Totalbiscuit and wheezywaiter are on the same episode of one of my favorite newly found shows. And its has two of my favorite youtubers on it.... This is good
the only way this could have been better was if sips was on instead of the other random dude. No offense to him i just have literally no idea who he is and well sips, nuff said
Seriously, you guys have really improved on an already awesome show this season. I love every episode!
Really enjoyed this one...even with a heavy heart. We miss you TotalBiscuit!
I fainted when I saw WheezyWaiter!!
RIP TB if anyone is watching in 2018...

Wow this was so fun to watch and the time flew by.
I feel like this and pandemic are some of the best table top videos they have made because they're masterfully explained and you actually feel a part of the game
Well, KOT rules are fairly simple, so i guess it's easier to explain. That's what i love about the game, it's a game you can easily bring to a party and explain the rules in a couple minutes.
I now feel like i can't play KOT without the panda expansion pack though. Great game!
Every time I play this with new people, they always comment on how the energy cubes looks like candy. xD
There are lot of missed points. Every time you go into Tokyo you get 1 Point.
Four magnificent geeks. Great roundup.
Just watching some old tabletop videos for fun. Then saw TB. Rip john, thank you for all you did for gaming.
Please, PLEASE get Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, MovieBob and Jim Stirling from The Escapist on this show! =D
Dude..YES
It's Sterling.
Al Capwn Oh my, I do love me some grammar nazi ;) *rawr*
Robin Batchelor Please, dahling. I'm a Name Hydra.
Never happen. Yahtzee is way too surly and antisocial. He'd never do it.
The use of Comic Sans on a graduation certificate from the University of Typography? Brilliant.
I love Totalbiscut's voice so much. I may have watched this more than once just to listen to him talking...
THANK YOU WIL
Our local comic book store has tabletop game night every month, and this coming month is the first kid's night, featuring Kings of Tokyo. I volunteered to chaperone but have never played this game, so thanks so much for the intro! Much appreciated.
Loving the Hyperion shirt :D
I'm not sure if I like the gameplay, but the theme is magnificent.
You should try it. It's not overly complex, but it's a lot of fun, especially with six players.
I played this 2 weeks ago with my friends!! It's a really cool game. Tabletop is an awesome show!!!
I have this game. Thanks for your video.
Rest in peace TB
i see tb...and now i feel sad. rip you great guy you will be missed.
Played this today as Cyber Bunny and won (Y) first time playing too =^.^= loved it.
I think I might go an pick this game up after seeing it played. Looks like a bundle of fun.
RIP Biscuit
After watching this I fucking hate gigazaur with a passion
The Andoxico Jesuszilla
Why?
I play as Gigazaur, and i have won 75% of my games.
Yeah... Gigazaur seems like a dum a-wipe in this video. I much prefer Mecha-DAGRON!!!
Great episode, loved the production as well.
'If you're healing, you're healing' Thanks. Helpful. Couldn't figure that out.
This was fun to watch too. Enjoyed Wil as Gigazaur a lot. That voice effect was fun too of course.
Will got Godzilla confused with Grimlock, unless that was intentional.
Yay for TB! :-)
This is a great video tutorial actually seeing game play
I enjoy this channel so much
TokyoBiscuit, the Mechanized Dragon, is here to answer one simple question, WTF is... Tabletop
I
90 seconds in I giggle not because Wil is playing with the figures, but because I noticed the Hyperion T-shirt lol
Just bought this game today along with the expansion. This game is a blast.
I started watching this because TB was on here...He did not disappoint! ;)
At 15:02 when the parasitic tentacles buy the psychic probe the energy it cost should go to Greg, not to the bank.
I was sure someone would have said this.
Tabletop vs. Tableflip: Battle of the Board Game Channels
I loved this episode, its so good.
Wow. What a lineup. Peak WheezyWalter, RIP TB, and Greg Zeschuk when people still liked Bioware and he was still there, what a time.
I was reading about King of Tokyo and thinking of buying it but I didn't think it was that fun until I saw this video. It actually looks super fun! The fact that you could actually die in the fight makes it really interesting because you have to constantly keep an eye on your life points. Definitely gonna buy it at some point :¬)
it's ranked on a lot of sites as like top ten games of the 21st century
I love that borderlands shirt!
I know, right? I'm probably going to buy that shirt when I find out where I can buy one.
this is my favorite episode yet
I was given this game by Geek & Sundry at comic con. I was very happy
RIP TB
Props to Wil and props to Tabletop, i miss this series so much! i watched this episode 5 years ago and its what made me buy KoT, the first game in my board game collection
out of all the games this one seems really fun
This game looks like a lot of fun!
RIP Totalbiscuit
RIP John Bain
We really need a round 2 of this game.
o7 SALUTE THE BISCUIT. FOREVER MAY HIS MEMORY REIGN
Oh my freaking god, I just learned Wil Wheaton was "that young guy from star trek". Jesus O_o, talk about a transformation. I still pictured him being like 20-30 year old guy.
At least he grew up to be awesome.
Dicio Lol, he actually was underage when he played the guy on the show.
Not to be a rule stickler, but techincally greg shoulda gone into the city when he did his first re-roll cause he rolled a claw and the rules say that whent he city is empty, first person to roll a claw will go in (they dont need to use/keep that claw but since they rolled it they go in)
I've been interested in this game for a few months but haven't had a chance to play it. This video sold me. Awesome that you got one of the founders of Bioware and Wheezy seems like a typical likable dude from the midwest.
This is like watching The Office. I love it!
John was so funny in this...you'll be missed man.
RIP TotalBiscuit
RIP john and Wil Wheaton's youtube career
Great episode
This video is 1000% more depression now that we've had to say goodbye to TB :(
Wil, I am actually in Japan teaching English. If you want, I could try to manage to have students sing the Gigasaur song.
Totalbiscuit and wheezywaiter in the same room makes this amazing.
Honestly I love this show! What's better than watching other people play board games?
