When I "betrayed" my dog, he wasnt talking to me for days. But when he "betrayed" me to play with cooler, younger guys while on a walk, I had to forgive him immediately

Try Bones 1st before they Sniff you and catch the betrayal Act. It usually lightens my punishment from my Golden Retriever Boy and Great Pyrenees Boxer Mix Girl. No bones and it's right to the Bright Lights in Your Face Interrogation Chair. - Hard to explain our cheating on them- Especially petting another Golden Retriever!

When I started working at a vet clinic I to came home of smelling like other dog, and cats I got the same treatment from my cat for a week. I told her over and over and over again “it’s my job they mean nothing to me”. Went on for a week but now she’s use to it.

Goldie's are simply the best dogs ever. Beautiful inside and out. I was honoured to have mine as a companion for 10 years.if only it could have been longer.

@@perryanderson5642 make sure you have a decent vacuum cleaner!!! Saying that my last companion was also a perfect gentleman and he was a jack Russell.,he lived until he was 17. He would certainly give a golden retriever a run for their money in regards to how much hair he would moult!!! Practically another dog sometimes!!😅

I've faced the same curious sniffing n sulks and annoyancr when I've patted or cuddled another dog n returned home..
And the " total ignore and face turned the other way" tactics after giving a scolding.
My dog deserved a medal for a marvellous display of sulks and putting me in the freezer at times!😂
My dog doesn’t care if she smells other dogs on me. I’ll come home, she’ll be hopping around happy to see me, smell the other dog, and just go right back to hopping around and happy.

Once I brought back an injured puppy to nurse, it took three days for recovery...during those 3 days ,my baby couldn't control her stress,she refuse to eat,always checking if the puppy still in the room and act weird...she couldn't take it😂...after I send the puppy back ,she became normal again...Obviously they don't like to share love

Once i came home with the stank of cat, got proper cold shoulder treatment & he sulked with me for the entire evening until beddy-bys because by then His Royal Highness wanted to be tucked in & adored & fussed over😂😂😂😂

My Golden Retriever did not care whether I 'stepped out' with other dogs. But my Shetland Sheepdog would give me a thorough, all-over sniff test to make sure I was 'faithful' -- & to make sure that I hadn't eaten anything while away from her! (I *had* to bring something edible back for her. Every time.)
That is well bred golden retriever right there, what ever breeder he came from is doing amazing, this is how the breed is supposed to look, big almost mastiff like.
