This is a good thing. Now I’d like to see some kind of merger between Paramount, and/or Peacock, and/or Starz.
Paramount+ and Peacock aren’t merging because they are owned by different companies.
I know, but there could be a merger between companies or a mutual agreement between them. Hulu started as an agreement between multiple Hollywood companies to create a streaming service. One company could do what Sony did and quit their streaming service & license content to others.
And then get to enjoy even higher prices. Super!
Hulu on Disney + does not include my watchlist or continue watching so I still need to use the Hulu app.

I have to admit that we wondered why the Disney+ app background color was a sort of turquoise last evening instead of the medium blue it has always been. Other than the change in color, honestly didn't notice any other changes inside the app. Only thought of it when I noticed the logo for this article was that same turquoise color.

Some content isn’t available on the disney+ app due to licensing of titles and contracts. They’ve been announced it.

I have the Disney bundle and use each app individually. Until they make you use one I’m not changing.
I wish they had a separate Hulu favorites for your shows in the Disney+ app Needs to be more organized for the different categories

It’s missing the search feature. It’s convenient but not necessary as I have no problem going in and out of apps to find the specific content I’m looking for. We will probably keep using the Hulu app for Hulu content.
I don’t like the integration of Hulu. It doesn’t let me search and doesn’t have my favorites. Maybe they solve that after the beta version
That was my worry, but in an earlier video pretty sure I heard that the “old” Hulu app would remain. That suits me just fine… as long as they don’t block that app.
the updated non-beta version rolled out today, when your account updates your favorites will be there

I just checked, the D+ app no longer shows "beta" and going to the Hulu section shows none of my favorites nor "continue watching" shows but those DO show in the Hulu app. Maybe they will eventually fix that, but they ain't there now (oh, I was using the iOS version on my iPad). Hope they don't delete the Hulu app anytime soon...
I guess it adds a lil convenience, but Id like to be able to access All the Hulu features like My Stuff for example from Disney+. That way there would be no need to have to use the separate Hulu app...
Family Guy should be my favorite adult cartoon show on Hulu on Disney Plus. The merger between two streaming services is pretty cool and it’s really complicated. Hey, Arnold! should also be my favorite kid show of all time as well on both services. But my favorite show of all time is Gabby Duran and the Unsittables. It’s part of the merger and everyone is okay with that.

Some of the ON-DEMAND content doesn't show up under the Hulu App, Like General Hospital... Which upsets my mom if they were to get rid of the Hulu App in the future....
I mainly got Hulu for General hospital. If they drop it I will drop Hulu.
The Showtime and Discovery+ apps still exist. The Hulu app will be around for quite a while due to their live TV option. GH has been on ABC forever, Disney owns ABC.

What about the resolution? Do you still get Dolby Vision and HDR on the Hulu mergered with Disney Plus?😊 Or do you have to use Disney Plus for DV and HDR?IMAX too?😊
Yes you get Dolby Vision even though we all know HDR10+ is superior for tone mapping and highlights.!
Since all of the Hulu content is still available in the Hulu app all this does it add another step to get to the content I want to see.
No the Hulu content will be integrated into Disney +. You already login to both across the Disney range of companies so you’re not going to see a difference - all the content will now be on one app. Assuming you have the bundle subscription.
Have you watched the History Channel lately ? I watched "Curse of Oak Island and there were commercial breaks every 10 minutes. Very annoying especially when they use audio and video signal that shows the History logo with an annoying audio repeating every 15 seconds ..
They should have had Disney with in Hulu app. If I got Disney for my kids I don't want them watching Hulu stuff.
You’d need to set parental controls either way.
Can anyone tell me why asking Alexa on remote to play a certain show on Hulu doesn’t work. It will open Hulu app but not the show I requested. Also if a preview of show is on the home page and I click watch …it will only open Hulu app, but not to the show I clicked. Very frustrating. Am I doing something wrong?

In Europe the Disney + app has 'Star' which is basically Hulu for quite some time now🤓!
As long as I can watch One Punch Man when it drops later this year, I'll be good to go. Other than that, I don't care much for Hulu.
It should be available to everyone who has Disney+ cause it would get more eyes on the Hulu content they did cause i loved when they started doing it and the Orville was made available to everyone but this feels like another way to get money out of us they making it easier to stream the Hulu content
I can't get on to Disney plus when I try to subscribe I have bother with passwords etc keeps rejecting them I would love to have it otherwise anyone got any suggestions I'm in the uk
It should have gone the other way. Hulu is a much better interface when it comes to sorting.

I have that deal to for the monthly cost. Nothing seems to have changed other than the Hulu Beta button in the Disney app.

Give it a week or 2 and make sure everything you want from Hulu is in the D+ app. Then you can delete the Hulu app as long as you don’t subscribe to Hulu live TV.
Not sure what the big deal is, Hulu has been in the Disney plus app for a while now. I don't see anything new.
What app do you recommend that includes live tv, hgtv, & CBS
Philo and Paramount+. Philo has HGTV and many other live channels with unlimited DVR for $25. Paramount+ with Showtime is $12, which gets you your live local CBS station, and everything CBS, Paramount, Showtime on-demand.

Personally, I liked the Hulu + Live, but a number of people like the youtube tv. They each have hgtv and cbs. Though, if you're looking for a cheaper option, philo will give you hgtv and you can get paramount+ for the live feed of cbs.

Tried to create a Disney+ and Hulu account, but it won’t let me do the package because I have a Disney+ account. They provide no alternative, not to call, or anything.
If you subscribe through Disney+ you won’t be able to subscribe to Hulu add ons if you pay for the bundle deal through Disney+.
I was able to merge both accounts by contacting customer service and having them do it
@@jonathanroberts4965 if you have the $9.99 bundle, you’re covered. Its compares to Max in price and now you’re getting both Disney and Hulu under one roof.

It will remain for quite a while, especially since Hulu live TV still exists. Don’t expect any new improvements to the app though.
Despite being a non-bundler I still got the update when they switched colors for the logo, but that’s it. Still can’t believe they’re gonna make me pay for Hulu just to see it on Disney+. I only have Disney+ as a standalone so I don’t see how I got the update for the color change but yet nothing about hulu for free on D+for us NONBUNDLERS. Why do I have to pay for another app (Hulu) just to see it on a current(D+). I paid Disney to see good content so the least they can do is add Hulu as well. SMFH. Way to 💩 the 🛏️ whoever’s responsible for the merger
