I had an '86 Fox with a 355 Chevy dirt track motor in it. But it sat way back, you could stand between the radiator and the engine. The driveline was literally 24" long. It had a Lincoln MK4 rear end. I didnt build it. I bought it like that. The guy said he made it like that for drag racing. The pull the heads, you had to pull the motor. It was pretty quick, not "fast", but quick. It topped out around 100 with the engine screaming.
