Tom Jones performed this live with a full orchestra. No auto tune, just pure talent.
That was raw life.
They don't have mixer or auto mike
@@georginamcallum1324 You’re right. Miss those days...
... on live TV to 20 million viewers... Btw.
Uno de los más grandes cantantes de los Tiempos de juventud..y suena igual al dua de hoy..Brillante Tom Jones..voz privilegiada. ❤
Yes, it’s THAT good. I’m 67 still cry every time I hear it, he was a powerhouse, handsome, LOVE HIM
One of the best songs of all time.
Tom and Elvis,were best buddies.Tom’s a real character,very funny and down-to-earth.
Tom broke two microphones will singing live! He's Welsh and said everyone sings like him....I wish I could hold a note lol....He's 82 yrs old now....Love his voice
Tom Jones was 27 years old when he did this performance. He’s STILL going strong at 81! Amazing voice! Incredible career!
This Dude is still touring in 2022! LEGEND!!!
Here's a man with pure talent singing his song from the heart - no tech, all talent, no bullshit. Much respect as always Sir Tom!
This was at a time when singers had to have talent, no gimmicks no autotune. He was married only once to love of his life 59 years .
I remember watching this live way back then. He is outstanding! Nothing compares now in the artist today. These were very talented Singers Then.!
Tom Jones has the most naturally powerful voice I've ever heard.
Yes, he could have kept us with Pavarotti.
"kept up"
Tom Jones is a phenomenal singer. I grew up listening to all of his music. My mom loved him ❤
Tom is a wonderful singer thanku for music
Isn't Tom's voice wonderful? Isn't music wonderful? There's so much great talent out there, and I'm really enjoying watching the two of you discover and appreciate it. Rock on, dudes.
Fortunately Tom is still alive but the other great most of them are gone
My Tom the best entertainer of my lifetime. Love him
One of the great vocal performances, period.
He's Welsh and that man can sing. Still going strong.
I was 8 when he sang this. Mum and dad bought all his records. Our lovely late Queen knighted him. Sir Tom
Effortlessly, raw talent. No autotune
Tom Jones is from Wales, but he is an American icon. He is in his 80s and can still sing. Great performer
I was a teenager,when Tom broke,on the scene.His impact was phenomenal,down to his voice,his performances,and his character.
He’s Sir Tom Jones,and a national treasure,in the U.K.
Tom Jones, what a fantastic voice and he still has this amazing voice at the age of 81 which is great. He had so many hits including It's Not Unusual, Delilah, and Green Green Grass of Home. The first one I remember is It's Not Unusual which is from 1965 and he was on Top of the Pops in the UK loads of times. He's a judge on the UK version of The Voice and I remember seeing him doing a couple of Jerry Lee Lewis rock and roll songs, Great Balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On - it was fabulous! An absolutely brilliant singer - thanks so much for this reaction, guys, cheers.
My uncle was a musical savant and he idolized Jerry Lee Lewis. Our house was always rockin! He danced on that piano just like Jerry Lee. I had a couple of 45's from Tom Jones. I can't quite remember exactly what was on both sides except for It's not unusual.
Great! Great! Great! He's still out there belt them out..
Tom still got full range in singing..and hes 80years old..still a good looking man...unique voice
What's really amazing is that he was 27 in 1967. That's an amazing amount of skill to develop at such a young age!
The ladies would throw their undies on stage when in concert! He had the hip movement too! Saw him in concert and the ladies lined up for their undies toss! He cool'd when he got his TV show! ❤️
One word - MESMERISING!!
He's snapping and smiling because he's just cool. He was born with the talent and charm and all his other assets.
Still has this Amazing Voice
Saw him 14 times in concert back in the day ... OMG that man could sing ... his dance moves were legendary ... and he wasn't hard to look at either !!!!
Tom sang this song with Peter Donegan on the Voice UK last year. Peter is the son of the man who wrote this song for Tom in the 60s. There is a video on you tube if you care to watch it.
I have seen Tom Jones 8xs in concert. He'll be 83 in June, and sounds a million time better than 99.9% of singers out there. If you ever get a chance to see him, do not miss him.
Yeah Tom Jones is great. It's so cool that you guys appreciate and react to all kinds of music, especially from back when music was real. Excellent.
I grew up listening to Tom Jones. My mom loved him.🎶💜✌
So powerful and full filling. Thank you.
God given voice
He put so much passion into his singing. He's still going strong at 80+. Wish you would react to another "passionate singer"-of more modern times. Home Free-Acapella group-Singer Austin Brown singing Percy Sledge's great hit-When A Man Loves A Woman-incredible talent!
There is a video of him singing this on the Voice UK with the son of the man who wrote this song. He was auditioning and when Tom heard his last name he asked if he was related. They sing it together. It is a great moment...and his voice is still this good.
That is exactly right because you, correctly, said that Lonnie did not write the song for him but, as we know, Sir Tom made it his own.
The song was written 2 years b4 Tom was known outside Wales where he sang with The Tommy Scott Orchestra under his real name of Tom Woodward...
Women truly swooned over Tom Jones. He does have a great voice.
Wonderful Welsh Tom ! 🏴 Still going strong at 81+ .. my darling mum who was also Welsh passed away last month. 81 aswell, but she always loved Tom x
The music then was so powerful and unique Tom is up there with the best he’s from wales 👍🏼
I agree he needs the highest award in music history
REminds me of the time that I visited The Doctors and told him that on Monday I woke up in the middle of the night singing The Green Green Grass Of Home and on Tuesday the same thing happened but this time I awoke after singing Delilah and last night it was this song and he replied that I have " The Tom Jones Syndrome!"... I asked if this was common and he said ..
"Will, It's Not Unusual"...
At 80 years old and still has a great voice
Today music is perfect because it’s overproduced but back then with no auto tune, singers had to achieve that perfection on their own.
Wonderful voice, beautiful song. Delilah is a great song too. Thanks 😘
The one and only Sir Tom Jones
Tom is one of the greatest singers ever and this performance was magnificent. He's 82 or 83 and still performing. It's said he retained 90% of his singing voice
I saw Tom Jones live about 5 years ago and he sounded every bit as good as he did way back then.
Superstar....Great voice .. still singing too....from Birmingham City UK x
Sir tom jones is a Treasure for the world
In his 80's and still singing live.
A live performance!!!
You NEED to hear him sing Delilah. Tom is pure emotion and talent. He cries with his voice like nobody else. Still sings beautifully. Voice like melted chocolate 🫕
He's now 80, a judge on "The Voice UK " and STILL singing!
Tom just released an album at 82. "I Who Have Nothing" will blow you away. A master at singing "crescendo" all the way through
I, Who Have Nothing his version is one of the most incredible songs ever. I saw him perform this LIVE. I almost died.
He is a judge on the UK show "The Voice ". I saw a clip of him singing on the show and he still had such a great voice!! I use to watch his show when I was a little girl. ♥️
Tom had a habit of blowing out microphones. Pure power.
There's that passion you guys have for the music. In the '70s he got much more hip and dressed for the times. He grew his hair out and was quite loved by the ladies. I wasn't really sure you were going to like this one but I'm so glad you did!
SO GLAD you reacted to Tom Jones!!! He’s an amazing singer, amazing voice! You should react to his song Delilah next.
Check out the clip of "the Voice UK" where Tom is a judge, and the son ofvthe guy who wrote this song ( Lonnie Donnegan) appears as a contestant and sings an impromptu version of this song, very emotional....keep up the Great reactions guys 👍👍👍
Tom as an amazing voice even now at 80.
Tom is the "Bomb" ❤️ He is 80 now and still singing, recording and performing ❤️ Still sounds as good ❤️
Notice his right toes leave the floor when he hits the note at the end. Thank you for your REACTIONS and choice of music videos
I absolutely love Tom Jones' voice. He's a master at his craft. That he's in his 80s and still putting out music that goes to the top of the Billboard charts says something about his depth of talent. Great reaction. I hope you do more reactions to Tom. Try "Treat Her Right." It's a trip. Cheers.
Tom Jones today is even better than he was back then!!! See his on Voice UK as a judge.
Among the top 10 best live performances of all time!
Tearjerker at the max
How lucky I was to grow up with this incredible music, so wonderful seeing you both enjoying it too. Great choice , he really is an incredible musician.
What a voice Eh George? Still strong at 80...more Tom!!!!
Great reaction to an icon of music!
That's why he is now known as "Sir" Tom Jones!
He's known as Sir Tom Jones because the queen granted him a knighthood and it's now his title to use. Of course, he was knighted because he is a British music icon.
@@snakelite61 I know, I was being a bit facetious...I truly admire him!
Another unbelievable voice to react to is Gabriel Henrique. He is a Brazilian singer who does covers of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey. Amazing voice. He sings in English but is still learning the English language. It’s inconceivable that he doesn’t have an offer yet for a record contract ( not that I’m aware of) with the incredible vocal ability he possesses. Hope you check him out. .
Just love this!! Amazing Tom!
Powerful, smooth, controlled…..wonderful
She's A Lady is another banger by Tom Jones!
Hola mis niños me encantó 💖 💕 esta reacción a Tom Jones fue hermosa, muchas gracias.
Sir Tom Jones now 81 and still sounds much the same, at the time of recording this he was already married too his childhood sweetheart Lady Linda who passed away around 2016, if you look for him on his own channel or social media you'll find him singing this.
I have pinged you some links to your private messages on instagram, on the 24th November it'll be 30 years since Freddie Mercury passed away
Sir Tom Jones still performs today at age 80 plus!
There's a fantastic video of Tom and Janis Joplin doing a song called Raise Your Hand. It was when Tom had his own weekly TV show and they are both having a great time singing their asses off!! Check it out, you'll love it!!
I was so in love with Tom when I was young
This song was written for Tom Jones by Lonnie Donegan. Lonnie's son Peter appears on the Voice UK last year singing "Broken Road". Tom turned around and eventually realized that Peter was Lonnie;s son - and THEY TOGETHER SANG THIS SONG !!! CHECK IT OUT!!!! Search Voice UK Donegan
Sir Tom Jones was once described by Elvis as his favourite singer and one of the greatest performers ever with the greatest voice, you don't get much higher praise than that, Elvis even tried to get them to do a duet with the Beatles as their backing band but it never happened unfortunately.
I've mentioned this song before, but please do Tom Jones' I Who Have Nothing. His voice is sublime.
The Master in action!
One word POWER!!
Listen to Delilah, my favorite Tom Jones song, amazing.
😀 Thank you! Always happy when one of your new reactions pops up in notifications! Yes, please check out more of his songs…he is a great talent! There’s so much true talent untapped yet! It’s a fun journey for us as you react to and appreciate the music, and it’s obviously fun for you two as well! Thanks again! 👏🤗💜
He was always playing somewhere in Vegas back in the day.
So love your reactions! Thank you!
You have got to watch the live version “Treat Her Right”. 1000 times more charisma, humor, awesome dance moves, and just downright raw talent. I never appreciated him growing up, now I love him.
An atom bomb going off in the right place 🏴
One of my grandad's favourite singers
Please listen to his "You're My World ". He'll be 82 in June, just did a live concert and ROCKED IT!
from my lovely country of wales in uk brilliant singer
I’m Coming Home & Without Love are a must listen too. Without Love showcases the power in his voice & the feeling that he puts into the song, plz react to these songs
His song, Delilah , shows off his vocal range, power, and control, even more. Please react to Delilah. Thank you!
HE IS THE DEFINITION OF SWAG
Great comments guys you are right on track..
beautiful baritone
Tom is the only singer who can make a Dog Howl.
You should also listen to another Welsh singer, Shirley Bassey, especially her James Bond theme songs 'Diamonds Are Forever' and 'Goldfinger' .
