      Honestly, how much he has earned over the course of his career isn't really relevant. Relevancy is that there should be a service for parents with kids, with or without special needs. Especially, if the army, as dumb as it is, can do it with more people. Active, seperated and retired. The NBA should be able to. The two being contractual institutions in nature.

    Birkin bags worth 300k and a private jet on insta. Maybe buy less bags and go on less lavish trips

    There should be a support service for NBA players who are in need of help with dependents with special needs. But that should not be a reason to HAVE to keep them employed. The precedents of doing that would be compromising towards future, wouldbe, players. You already have people like Kevin Love who are 'still' playing... Just because.
