Personally, I'm ending this year on a high note. As for everyone, it's not been easy, but I've finally found something that I like doing, and found a way into doing it as a career. I'm now living somewhere almost as remote as Leena, and doing what I love every day.
I've never been one to believe in New Year being a time to start anew. If you really want to change, you can do that anytime, you don't need an arbitrary date. And as I'm pretty happy with my life at the moment, I shall just continue as I am. However, if you are doing something new for 2021, I wish you good luck in doing so, and I hope that everyone, no matter who you are, or how good or bad your 2020 was, has a better year than this one past.

I don't think it makes us special at all. There are more people on earth now than there were at the beginning of the year.
Still surviving since 2019 (for a T-shirt)
2021 was the worst so far, but who knows things can always get worse.....
It was a beautiful year 2020 and you, Leena, have made a positive contribution to it. You showed us many idyllic landscapes, and even more important, you gave us access to your soul, that seems to be embedded in a sea of love and joy.

Hey, I'm an Indian currently living in USA. I've been your subscriber since the time you have less than 2000 subscribers. I absolutely love your work and very inspired with the way you live your life. I'm an introvert and always dream of living in such a kind of place, living away from the regular hustle and big cities. I love travelling, photography, painting and being creative in any aspect and I see all of that in your videos and I feel very positive whenever I look at your videos. I'm currently 22 and due to the Visa restrictions and family commitments, it is difficult for me to live such a lifestyle that you are living. But, after some years, I definitely hope to live in a place close to nature(near a beach or/and in the mountains, somewhat far away from the cities, have a pet and work from home with comparatively not much pressure). Also, I absolutely love your choice of music and your voice which is very soothing. I hope you make videos with more frequency. I get it that the content and the quality of the videos matters the most. But, it is just that I want to see more of it.

However like you I am not been able to live that lifestyle yet but I still try to inculcate some of those habits. Hello Leena and Joachim. I love your meditation. Gonna do it myself. Amid all the bleak, here in Montreal, there have been moments of light. I think we all learned a lot about ourselves. I mean we had plenty of down time to consider life, at least here we did. We are in another lockdown right now, till Jan 11th. The holidays were bleak. But at least I got to see some of my friends. it was a hard year, but I/WE persisted, and that's what matters for all of us right? Sadness came, and you rose from it. The challenge I think for many will be to "leave in the past, what is not needed in the future" Because so much of the world lives in this never ending cycle of "Memories" and I find that cumbersome a lot. Every day here in Canada, we are "Reminded, again" And I often find myself saying out loud, "well, jeez, sometimes I'd just like to forget for a while!? Thank you for all you and Joachim have done. I get that 'voice' too. I suffer from ptsd, sometimes when I feel close to suicide or fantasizing about death, this voice comes and just reminds me I have a future. I often wonder if it's our own mind, another part of ourselves that seems foreign because it is disconnected, or if in fact it is something higher than us.

Hi, I'm a Korean who loves travelling and cooking. Due to COVID19, I'm stuck in Korea and can't travel abroad. I was so stressful and frustrated because I'm in travel business. Since I found your channel, I've been relieved from a huge stress. The situation hasn't changed but I changed my mind. I moved to my hometown from Seoul and am enjoying time to walk in nature such as seaside and forest. I can't travel abroad but I can introduce my hometown to my subscribers. I cook Korean foods or foods which I had during my trip to other countries. I found a solution to survive and am glad being alive here right now. I ended 2020 by starting my life the way I always wanted it to be..... More importantly, that's how it needed to be for I can keep, slowly and steadily, walking forward on the stepping stones while processing all the memories on the go.......
