Manggahan is back! And so is eat-all-you-can mangoes! We celebrate the delicious yellow fruit with a trip to the mango island in the Western Visayas, and I borrowed Kulas' friends from Australia for it!

I bet, after eating this Philippine Mango 🥭, you'll never eat Mango again except from the Philippines 🇵🇭. They're exceptionally the sweetest you can find.
Don't mind having a mango overload 🥭 . That mango pizza looks good though. My favorite snack as a kid was dried mangoes. I love mangoes both green and yellow. Philippine mangoes are the best! 🥭 🇵🇭
The Philippines Mango is regarded the best in the world and the Guimaras variety tops them all.
Every country where mangoes are grown claim that they are the best in the world. Hard to beat India though, with over 3000 varieties. 🥭🥭

I love Mangoes the Indian Mango is my favorite. I was going to buy Dried Mangoes at CVS. I back out it cost $10.00 a pack and made short video about it.
I think you haven't tasted yet the Philippine Mangoes, especially the ones from Guimaras, they are the best mangoes in the world, Guinness world records as the sweetest, Indian Mangoes are rates 2nd. ☺️☺️☺️

@@Mark-wv6sggo to the Philippines and buy randomly in wherever Mango store and taste them, I guess you won't eat a different Mango again, yet, you didn't even taste the Guimaras variety. Philippine Mangoes are the best in the world, but the varieties from Zambales and Guimaras are the best in this Island. 🧐

Matatamis nga ang Guimaras manggo.pero para sa akin pareho sa tamis pero mas mabango at malalaki ang nasa Zambales or Pangasinan.dati n kaming nagtitinda way back then.

Renowned to be the sweetest mangoes in the archipelago. Could be the soil.
I have to correct this as the mangoes in one island, San Salvador, in Zambales is hailed by the Guinness Book of World Records bears the sweetest mangoes in the world... and in the Philippines. Yes, not even the surrounding islands will have the same depth of sweetness and flavors. Guimaras mangoes are meaty and yummy, but not as sweet and flavorful as those from San Salvador.
@@kukuku786 have you tried a Guimaras mango though? What are you saying? Guimaras Mango, the Galila variety is also held as one of the sweetest mangoes in the whole world in 2016, and you're referencing the Guinness Book in 1995 which is also changing. What a mango hater.

years ago, my nephew gave me two grafted mango seedlings from guimaras and is now fruit bearing. .i dont know how sweet was mango from guimaras, never tasted it but my guimaras mango here in cdo are as sweet beyond explanation. .

The cebuanos are credited to have started to make mango trees to bear as many fruits as possible. The agricultural experimental station in Mandaue City is witness to this.

@@KumanderDaot cebu mangoes are mostly not from cebu anymore, mangoes from Bohol and Mindanao many times are passed in the markets of cebu as cebu mangoes. And be careful of buying dried mangoes, there dried mangoes that are from puree and carageenan.
There was a time in cebu where half the tree are made to bare fruit and reserve the other half for the off season fruiting. Crazy huh! But you can have that researched at the BPI at Agricultural Experimental Station at Mandaue in Cebu.
