    Here’s another Instant Guitar Lesson: Play Better Lead Guitar With Target Notes!
    This is is how Beginners become Intermediate and then Advanced!
    Don't be a "noodler" - play with purpose, and tell a story as you play. Choose specific "Target Notes" within a scale that fit each chord during a song!
    We're using the 12-Bar Blues format as our background, and the A minor pentatonic scale as our source of Target Notes. Playing with the backing tracks below is crucial.
    Slow Blues Backing Tracks in the key of A:
    • Medium Slow Blues Back...
    • Slow Blues Backing Tra...
    The four PDFs for this lesson are available at my website www.song-bike.com, where you’ll also find my books, e-books, videos and MORE PDFs! Please become a member today. I appreciate your support!
    I am adding this to my CZcams playlist of Instant Guitar Lesson videos, each with PDFs available:

    This is the “teach a man how to fish and you feed him for life” lesson. When I finally got around to really follow what Jonathan had to say along with the PDF, I was lost in a world of jam with the slow backing track. I’m in my 50s clearing off a lot of rust, so I’m not new to guitar playing, but I never thought I could play lead like I did. The best lesson ever! And joining song-bike for pennies on the dollar, best ROI ever! What a treasure trove of videos on there, too! Thank you, Jonathan for making me remember the love of playing. I feel rejuvenated!! Merci Beaucoup!

    John, I haven’t seen your lessons in years… Use to turn to your lessons 10 or 11 years ago when I started… And I havent seen you in a while, but with so much on the Internet I lost track.
    It’s good to see you again, I always loved your positive approach and your insights! BTW, don’t you age? You look younger than you did years ago!

      STRUCTURE! 2 Question… how much is membership per Month… is there annual option? Secondly, how much are your 1-1 lessons?

    A D E chords
    So i can use Amin scale when A chords is played Dminor when D chords is played and Emin when E is played

    • @dougsmith8430
      @dougsmith8430 Před rokem +1

      When Blues is in A Minor Key yes… but if Blues in in Major, you can play in Major or in minor!

    • @jkehew1
      @jkehew1  Před rokem +2

      Good question, G 'n F N Roses! You can just stick with the A minor pentatonic scale even when the background chords change to D and E. That's a good way to start. You don't have to switch scales just because the chords are changing. But switching scales is certainly an option especially if you ears get tired of hearing the same scale throughout the whole song. Hope that helps! Please check out my website www.song-bike.com for other videos and PDFs.
