6 Generations Involved With The Canterbury A&P Association!

John Grigg (Past President 2010) and his son Hamish have a long history with the Canterbury A & P Association, starting with Johns Great Great Grandfather J Grigg who was President of the Association way back in 1893.
His son, J C N Grigg was in fact the first person to bring Friesian cattle into New Zealand.

Just watched TV1 Country Calendar tonight 7pm [11/08/2024] featuring the story of John Grigg and his son Hamish and their farm at Darfield. It is an absolutely fascinating story - one of awesome history and extremely hard work. The programme is titled 'Seeds Of Growth' and is well worth watching.
