That is what an unboxing vid should be. The video work, lighting and all let us see into the rc with a concise description. Very nicely done. I REALLY miss the bashing/racing vids you made. I still go back and watch the old ones.
The thing i need to say about MJX is when i bought the H14BM, the body shed 2 screws and the steering linkage shed a screw. I did not have spares. The included hardware did not have spares. So i emailed them. over 6 weeks ago they said they had shipped out spares. I'm still waiting.
Now onto the Arrma Granite i own, which is only $20 more:
My steering servo went bad.
Horizon Hobby sent me a new servo next day airmail.
That's worth the extra $20-30 for the Arrma brand name 2 year warranty service that actually means something.
I don't hate MJX, just their approach to customer service.
That's fair, but you're comparing a company that's learning and growing to the biggest brand on the market that's been around for decades. And you don't have to search too hard on socials to find horror stories about bad customer service from Horizon as well. So it's great that you had a good experience with them, but it's not always sunshine and roses either. Point is, no one is perfect.
Love the granite . Great RC imho . Parts at Jenny’s and needs no upgrades . Maybe a top chassis brace
Great unboxing, cool looking car with obvious potential. In my opinion too many things not quite right , hopefully sorted before production run . Thanks for showing us Vas . 👍
Initially it looks like an attractive package with potential. But after you break down all of the components you can see the flaws. Id personally would rather have something like an Arrma Granite that has a better transmitter, is easier to work on, is faster on 3s and has much better parts availability.
Id actually think the Rlaarlo Omni-terminator is a better engineered product. Even with the smaller scale id prefer that
MJX is a new company but they just seem to nail it everything that they do. Of course they're going to have some ups and some downs It's a new company. But there's a lot more ups than downs in my opinion even though there are new company with the RC cars anyway. That's my favorite small car brand. They're new at making RC cars but they had a lot of experience on drones and so forth. They'll be top dog here shortly once they sort out all the issues. That will happen in time and they will be hard to beat in the long run...
I have this in my cart already, the price for the truck is very tempting
How do you keep pumping out such great videos all the time
Keep it up
Excellent review. Got a feeling this one is going to be a little wild on 4s lol. A few small things for MJX to tweak TX is a very big one for me too... nothing worse than a crappy transmitter...but on paper looks great. Good looking MT.
Can't wait for the running vid(s) Vas....Send it!!
The mjx arms look just like the team associated mt-10
Awesome video my Friend new sub and Bell from Canada 😊😊👍👍🚜🚛🚚🛻🚙🚧🚧🚧🚦🚦🚦🚦.
The ISDT ESC70 and ESC90 ESC's have bluetooth built-in and work surprisingly well for the money.
Awesome. Do they come standard in a RTR and what RCs are they in? Would love to look them up myself. 🙂
@@AussieRCPlayground I am not sure if they come in RTR's to be honest. Not sure if you have ISDT in Australia but they are mainly known for battery chargers and other assorted electronics. They came out with these ESC's about a year or two ago. There are available on Amazon in North America for about $35-$40 CDN.
😀👍
04:38 You just need to make sure that the foam on the wheel is not pressed back and rubbing on the handset. They don't jam if you check this.
great ! waiting for the V2 !
That was great informational video mate. I've been waiting for MJX to go bigger but now. I'm thinking the next model mit be the go 👍😅.
I’ve got loads of rc cars my advice is narrow them down to top 10 and mjx hyper go is no where close to that so goodbye hypergo
@@BswithjayAnd what are those top ten 1/10th scale 3s monster trucks that u advise or have? Anyone can say such
8:00, not the RC for me unfortunately. Not spending $400 just to be frustrated by this
I have a fix for this and all you need is loose change. I'll show it soon.
What the heck we did t even see it go??
You know how the title says "unboxing"? That would be why... 😉
Running vids will be up soon.
You guys are testers not reviewers. Isn't the v1.5 already on the production line?
@@AussieRCPlaygroundCheck Tomleys video on this. I'm just repeating what he said. He won't review it because this is the V1 not what the public is getting.
Seems MJX using you guys as beta testers t rather than reviewers of the final product.
I saw Tomley's video just before doing mine and originally I thought the same - MJX wanted CZcamsrs to test these trucks so they could update them before they went to market - but that's not exactly correct. Yes, we are testing and reviewing these trucks and of course, MJX want feedback so they can improve it in the future, but that's no different to any other brand that send us products. The confusion is that the email sent out by MJX to all creators was misinterpreted and we all thought that a V2 of the truck was what was going to be sold to the public, not what we (CZcamsrs) were reviewing. But that's not the case. This is what people will buy, there will be no changes to this truck when it hits shelves. Yes, there will be a V2, but that might happen a year or 2 from now, which is no different to any other brand's business model. To "accuse" MJX of using CZcamsrs as "BETA testers" is to accuse every other brand we work with of the same. Every review we do on a product is designed to influence the brand to make improvements, and thankfully there have been various brands that have listened and applied those changes so you 🫵 can buy a better product.
In saying that, BETA testing is done sometimes (I've done it a couple of times myself), but that's usually done in secret and off camera way before a product goes to market, but that's not what's happening with this truck.
@AussieRCPlayground Looks like Tomley has taken that video down.
Thanks for the reply but there still seems to be a v1.5 on the way. Chassis optimization, car shell improvements, better tyres and adjusted diffs screws for better access. Maybe not a V2 but definitely an upgraded version.
Good on MJX if this is correct. It already looks too be a solid truck just looks like they rushed it out the door a bit.
Nowadays I found every "new" truck to be pretty much the same as the others. Nothing is really different to stand out, specially 1/10 scales
Yeah, I sort of agree with that. I mean, there's only so many ways one can make an RC, especially since there are patents out there that restrict some design possibilities... It really comes down to who can do it better given the parameters in place, so yeah, some designs will look similar as a result. 🤷
Spend a couple money quid and get a mt10
Not the case here. This truck is gonna retail for $420 and the MT10 comes in at $600. Big difference.
LOL, I was about to buy a TA MT10 a few months ago and heard about this and now its almost in the shops....the 4s is the kicker...but the radio is a let down....
The GOAT of unboxing. If don’t like and follow you are missing out. Vas is the go to if you want to know before you buy.
