- This is a quick tutorial on how to install the Command Link Mechanical Kit - Twin Engine Kit w/ 1 Information Station Display and a Premium 704 Binnacle Control 6YC-0E83C-20-00 with 6YC INFORMATION STATION.
Installed on my 2008 115 4stroke yamaha outboards.
Always struggling to find out how to do things on my engines.
I like to do them myself, so I post it online so you guys have a quick and simple tutorial.
I am in no way a professional, I am just trying to help the average boater with simple tips. If you're not comfortable working on your engines, do search for professional help.

Question: Did you need to remove the wiring harness from the engines? I believe theyre exactly the same harnesses as the new ones right?

Hi Luis, I don't sell these, but I highly recommend it. If you search on google for Command Link Mechanical Kit (6YC-0E83C-20-00), you have for single and two engines and the kit brings all the parts you need for assembly. Then you can follow this tutorial if you need any help setting up. Enjoy.

Hey mate, how's it going? My engines are 2008 model and they work fine with it. Only feature that doesn't work is the trolling option on the 6YC. Only on newer engines. What year are your ones?
