This is one of the best Martha Argerich that I’ve ever heard. A sprightly interpretation of light-hearted Beethoven. With this, she has truly proven that age is just a number. Martha Argerich the High Priestess of the Piano 🙏🏽🙏🏽.
The Orchestral Accompaniment was also superb. The smaller orchestra seemed to give a degree of sensitivity to the performance. 🙏🏽

I often read Martha's fan talking about "her still being" when refering her senior years recordings and performances. I find no ground for "still" here - regardless of the natural limits that age brings, here she's better than ever. And that's not "just"about musicality and insight - that here's just the perfect Beethoven 1. Even better than ever before.

The acoustics are exquisite. I regret that I was in this hall and didn’t get to hear a concert. The conductor is a gem. How could any human being not be touched by the childish joy in his face? Magic. Is it? Then there is something very evil involved. Because magic is demonic. And very real, of course.

It’s addictive, powerful and totally beautiful. Martha is a true Goddess of the piano, and the conductor is completely and happily absorbed by every note, it’s such a pleasure listening and enjoying it, I did not want it to end 👏👏👏.

Listening to Ludwig and Joan through this interpreter is a delight to abolish the surge of everyday noises and images to half-open the space of elsewhere where contingency and representation give way to the immateriality of the sensitive. The expressive power of the sound architecture breaks with any form of transcription of reality to attach itself to the expression of a fabulous universe where the color and the hythm of the compositions constitute an expiration which gives voice to the exaltation ☺

I can only say, have no words to describe the sublime beauty of Maestra Martha Argerich performance, exquisite, absolutely Divine. What a Genius, talented pianist master performer, to the exact composition letter, like we would be listening to Beethoven today, over 300 years later. Thank you so much Maestra Martha Argerich! Proud and pleased to know you were born in Argentina, from a devoted and loyal Argentinian fan of yours, since the times with the late Maestro and mentor Friedrich Gulda, when I listened to you at Teatro Colón. All the Best, stay strong, healthy and Safe! May God Bless!
