These pants pill very easily according to reviews on website. I'm leery cause I just bought a pair myself. Really like them so far. Might bring them on my trip to Japan. I'll be careful, wash by themselves on gentle cycle or hand wash in Japan.
Warmth: I have a pair of nylon Nike's I've been wearing for years as sweatpants. These Kung Fu pants are surprisingly warm. With a pair of thin breathable underlayer, you can take these out into 30 deg temps like I just did tonight and be comfortable.
My biggest concern is durability. How well will they hold up in the wash? They also look good as scrub pants so I can use these at work if I have to.
My Kung Fu's are too long. Lululemon will offer free hemming with all their pants. Many people like myself did not know this.

Hello Mr. Mace, since this is pants/M.A. related, I hope you can help. I wear a lot of blue jeans (the loose kind), and M.A., but I have a bit of a problem. When I do a high side-kick (or similar) my pants seem to hang up at the knee causing the jeans to pull at the groin area of the fabric, which cause a flexibility restriction and loss of leg speed. Do just need at higher seam at the inner-leg? I ask because I notice that when I pull up the fabric at the knees 2-3 inches, I no longer have this problem. Thanks.
