I actually got some Skylanders trading cards when I was younger. They were basically just cards similar to those you get by buying a skylander, but a bit diferent. I remember that there were cards for Spyros Adventure, Giants and Swap Force skylanders but there might also be trap team ones. An interesting thing about those were that there were even colorless cards which you could color on your own. Was probably cool for a younger audience

During the promotion, they sold actual skylanders and certain McDonalds locations. They were the same skylanders you could have gotten at other stores but I figured I mentioned it, the happy meal toys even gave you some sort of discount for the skylanders sold there at McDonalds.

I was gifted the skylanders SSA bag recently by a relative (along with a ton of their figures), it’s kind of weird how it comes with a pocket for both the portal and even the cards that came with the skylanders, but no pocket for the game. The lid is super cool though, since it can be laid flat and it creates a space to put the portal and a figure of each element. Shows they put a little more thought into it than making a bag for kids to throw figures in
True story short: When I was around 6-7, I used to make my OWN skylanders cards. I would badly draw a skylander I liked at the time and then glue to it to a cardboard. I didn't even know that the official cards existed, but I remember I had so much fun making them, from SSA to SC. Shame me and mom threw them away years ago.
Ooohh man, this brought nostalgia to me. I remember having a Skylanders Giants lunchbox during my school years until it got too much I got home educated due to my honestly crippling school anxiety. I also have the SSA carrying bag, a Spyro costume and a Spyro plush (Idk where the costume is, but I think the plush is somewhere in my room--) I also remember having this Skylanders...hand scrub thingy? and I think I had these annuals and this gill grunt book. also, Yes, Spyro was my favourite Skylanders (and magic is my fab element.), I like his design in Skylanders more than the Spyro games. Fight me.
Let’s be honest if they went through the effort of making basically everything skylanders themed. Then that means there was probably skylanders collage books…..
That portal holder was basically for if your parents said that you had to keep the skylanders clean, so you used that base to organize them when they were out. They were awesome. I also had a spyro costume, along with (I think?) a watch. Because I loved the portal of power.
Another thing that hasn’t been mentioned, there were sticker collections, along with blind bag cards and blind bag dog tags, I believe I still have a couple left over! The cards would have single characters on, shiny ones, some that were put together to make a bigger picture, and even a few that you were meant to colour in yourself!

My brother got it from a flea market where he used to work. It made me cry and miss Skylanders franchise so hard. Too bad it mentions absolutely nothing about the 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure, so I decided to give it back as a birthday gift to my brother.

As a kid, my parents never bought me the game because the cashier told them they needed to buy all the figures in order to play the game. So when the school book fair came around, I bought (without permission from my parents) a Skylanders Giants Guidebook because I wanted to read about the book and see the Skylanders. Almost 10 years later and I still own it, but it's beat up.
@Skylander Games TV I used to have some of these merchandises, but I have one that you probably didn't know that existed. for Halloween and Easter, they made buckets for all the candy and easter eggs and I had one basically the bucket was the head of the Skylander I only had one I don't remember if there any others, but I had a spyro bucket I had it for a while but when I stopped liking Skylanders I got rid of it I think but I'm getting back into my Skylander phase.
I got the Crypt Crusher RC car, and it's actually really cool! I even made a video with it that's a crossover between Skylanders Superchargers and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit! Also I did order one of those custom Imaginator 3D figures back when they were available. In fact I based it on Ratchet from Ratchet & Clank!

you really missed out on mentioning the skylanders headphones! i am an audio engineer and massive audio nerd in general these days, and when i dug out a pair of really really crappy looking skylanders headphones i had to try them, finding out that somehow, somehow, these crappy fragile uncomfortable kids headphones sounded better than like, easily 60% of the headphones i own, if not more, i only have a few pairs that sound better, it's so strange and cool.

My brother made his own skylander books or comic books when he was young he made about 6 or 7 20 paged books back then
