Hi Pete. Glad to see you're on the road to recovery and hopefully back to building again. Nice additions to the stash, just bought the B-24 myself but think it will be put to one side for now. Loved your top 10 video before you went into hospital, some cracking models. I'm a new subscriber and looking forward to seeing more vids of your builds. Take care and happy modelling. Bobby
Drawn towards your channel via a mixture of your enthusiasm and Love/Nostalgic pull for Airfix! 😂 I loved hearing Mum got you a birth Birthday kit! I'm 63 and it was My Mum building HMS Victory and later The Great Western that got me into the hobby as a nipper. We got all our kits from Potter's - the local Hardware store! 😂 Also, good to here your recovery is going well 👍🏻
We are the same age then Jim and therefore the same timeframe of memories with Airfix. And yes, my mum always knows what to buy me for my birthday! Problem is I never know what to get her! Thank you very much for watching the channel 👍
Congrats on the new hip Pete! Just make sure that you keep up with the P.T. exercises/stretches. Great additions to your model stash. I had my last hip replacement done one week before my birthday. Take care Pete Tom S.
Hi Tom, recovery going quite well thanks and getting better every day. Congratulations, congratulations on your new hip two and I hope it’s settling in well
Lovely to see you back in action Pete. Real shame you had to spend your birthday in hospital, I've been there with my son on two of his birthdays but the nurses were lovely and made a fuss of him, hope they did you! Look forward to seeing your recovery builds progress but take care and don't over do it!
No special treatment for me, but I’m sorry it’s been necessary for your lad to spend her of his birthday is in hospital that’s pretty rough. I’m certainly pacing myself with the modelling at the moment. I’ve got a secret project to finish off and then once I’ve done that then I should be out of the traps. Take care Pete.
@@petesplasticplayground7791 Thanks Pete, he puts up with a lot, makes me realise just how lucky most of us are. Hope we will get to see the secret project sometime!
Welcome back Pete, and just keep joining the exercises, having had new knee a few years the exercises are very important, you will soon be firing on all six cylinders, keep up the modeling, you have very happy personality
Great to see you back Pete, hopefully you will notice instant relief once the pain of surgery has worn off 💪🏻. On a non-modelling subject, as a Palace fan to a Royals fan I must say thank you for Michael Olise. What a special talent that lad is.
I’ve got him in my dream team actually and I was disappointed that he was out injured so long at the beginning of the season. He was a real asset from us when he came from Liverpool. I thought at the time that they were mad to let him go because he’s such a talent and such a fast striker. I enjoyed watching you beat Man United last night absolutely hilarious.!
Great to see you back on the channel Pete. Looking well and full of positivity. Take your time with the recovery and lovely to hear your family gave you excellent gifts too (B24 is a beauty). As for your dilemma regarding which kit you start with from your stash, go for whatever takes your fancy. The Whitley is a solid project but that Rotodyne could be a lot of fun!!
"High" Pete! Happy to hear all went well with your opetation!! That is a very clever way to display your coins! All the very best with your recovery!!👍👍
High Pete I have built 7 of your top ten 1.72 models & just finished the dam buster Lancaster 80 year celebration model with the bouncing bomb tucked under neath. And what a coincidence 2 weeks today I go in to have the first of two hips replaced, after a 3 year wait. Great to to see your recovering well it has given me confidence. Regards Terry from Bristol. 8:38
Hi Terry , I hope yours go as well as both mine have, it really is a quick recovery, excersise is key, as is model making! Which three had you not built out of my 10?

Haha it’s always fun to beat Utd, but we weren’t expecting 4! He is a phenomenal talent and we’ll be lucky to keep him much longer.

Very good! As long as your hands don't feel like two balloons!! You've got models to build! 👍👍

What was the first model you completed ?
At what age ?
Hi David, I remember doing lots with my dad when I was young, but when I was about 7 I did an A4 Skyhawk on my own. How about you?
