  • VANS RV7A Review - Experimental Light aircraft.
Mark's on holidays so we have a special guest reviewer, Peter, and his fabulous light aircraft to check out. Even though I am a qualified pilot (drones), Pete knows all about it and shares some fascinating insights into flying and his high-performance experimental sports aircraft.
Join us for a look at Australia's stunning Moreton Bay and Gold Coast.
We'll be back with a car to review next week but for today - something completely different.
A massive thank you to Peter for the joy-flight in 'FANG'.

Glad you enjoyed it Thomas. The Queensland gold coast is stunning from the air. And I really enjoyed catching up with pilot Pete again.

Fantastic to understand the costs and opportunities relative to auto, much appreciated! A cracking hobby to add to the list... when time and funds allow. For now, sticking to the track on 2 and 4 wheels...

I may settle on this model to build .Ilike the canopy ,except rear widow blocked

There is no rear window, but the canopy has a massive sun shade on it, to keep the heat down I'm sure. Did you end up deciding on this model?

As a both an avid inCARnation viewer and keen aeronautical aficionado I was both excited and apprehensive about this video when I saw the title but wow, what an episode! A nice change of pace. Do planes have a separate engine for taxiing or is the propeller generating all the power? Is this the same for commerciL CRAFT?

Hi Hank, thanks for great feedback. No separate engine for the tricycle undercarriage. The prop proves all the pull. Change of direction by differential braking with a castoring nose-wheel. Regarding other aircraft, I have no idea.

Someone tell that buddy; you don’t point short gun at a plane.
