This doesn't change the fact that they lure drivers in with high earning potential, provide them with lucrative jobs initially then once they have the market covered repay drivers by aqueezing every penny out of the driver. They even said themselves they want driverless cars asap to get rid of the driver cost.

Uber already doesn’t make enough as a company, these aren’t their employees they are independent contractors and they get paid for their labour not their needs. This isn’t socialist Russia.

In India, if you serve in restaurant at table they would tips you 100, 200, and much more. But, The delivery who comes from distance of 5, 6 kilometers crossed worse traffic and giving the food at home at door step. They don't tips. That is I think one of the incredible Indian show. 😅
Uber charges the customer for tips whether they like it or not. Why should a customer 1) pay for higher than restaurant prices, 2) pay for a service fee, 3) pay for a convenience fee, 4) pay for a delivery fee, and 5) you want customers to pay for a tip? Don't blame the customer - unite and form a union, tell your congressman/woman, picket, write blogs, comment how bad they are here, and maybe, just quit.
Uber is showing who's boss, but they're super greedy. Their CEO, AND all upper management should be ashamed of themselves, and if there's fraud like I've experienced, some of those people should be incarcerated!

@@MikeiLike yeah we didn't have all that in india, here uber eats gave 50% discount for food in the beginning , and they gave delivery partners good payment, and later they sold their Indian business to Zomato because of loss.
There was just a food fee and delivery fee, nothing more, we enjoyed it while it lasted

Please don't get mad at the woman in the video she's just acting. There are rude customers, but being a delivery partner with uber eats I never came through any rude customers, sometimes they just give bad rating for late or damages.
In rare cases they just show a grumpy face.

This video deserves a million likes ! This is so true. Sometimes you order a small parcel, and it starts raining by the time the delivery arrives. I consciously try not to order if I feel it might rain. It feels so unfair seeing someone delivery your order all wet and drenched in the rain. I wish we could do better than a thank you and a tip.

In my city, I drive 24 Km to pick up two cups of coffee for just three Km. and I get paid just for the three Km . Wasting gaz and time
But on swiggy all kms get charged
Then get a new job

Thanks for that commercial, I went thru the almost the same thing, it start pouring down raining on me and I didn’t have an umbrella, the customer lived on the third floor, the elevator was out of order! after the delivery I run far to my car in the heavy rain storm I was in my car, not a motorcycle, I went home soaking wet. The customer was not rude but annoying, she kept texting me, asking where am I and then she text be safe. I hope customers that views this video, will now see what delivery drivers go through. I got my order delayed for 2 hours as it was rain! I never blamed on driver as I knew that driver’s health is more important than food!
Also if the food is not good and is delayed too much u can refund amount from the restaurant but plz always rate the delivery guy as he is working so hard !

I would personally share my delivery ride experience at uber eats, It was raining heavily but as i picked the order it was my commitment to deliver the order safe & securely on time. I did reach there on time, i was astound to see my colleague in that house, and eventually he did not let me go without having dinner with him. He said when u can deliver food in such heavy rain, we thanks for your service.
