Actually, I liked the Hobbit series of films. It was not like the book, but the book was really written for children and the film is for adults. Also, the book was too long for a single film and not long enough for two, so, either some things needed to be skipped over or some things needed to be added. Mr. Jackon chose to go into the Tolkien world's history and add things. Some of them were good choices, and some were not so good. All in all, I think it was a good movie.

When you watch the movie for the first time, with all the comically nonsensical circus that the Dwarves make in Bilbo's house...and then suddenly - this song hits. At that moment you know, that something truly epic is about to unfold, and there is nothing you'd want more than seeing it happen.
the movies suck ass tho, it couldve been so good but they just wanted money and dragged it out for 3 movies when the stories only 200 pages long. they had everything, good actors, good visuals, great writing, it couldve been so good if they just made it one film

Who else can't help but imagine themselves wandering through the misty mountains while listening to this masterpiece? Pure magic

Well there is a lot of LotR that the movies haven't touched yet. It all depends on if Tolkien's family wants to allow people to continue the franchise via movie or finishing his unfinished works.

Looped this for three hours and play it to get my newborn to sleep/ keep her asleep bedore she fully settles
Worked better than any white noise ❤
It hit me hard when they said “Mmmm Hmmm Hmmm Hmmmmm”
sounds like Halo soundtrack
Yo! I was gonna like this comment but it's at EXACTLY 69 LIKES!
The like count is now One Gross! 144 just like Bilbo's age and Frodo's age at the party.

Ein wundervolles Lied Dankeschön 🙏🙏
Such a melodic sound from voices, not a single instrument.
Simply...BEAUTIFUL.
War of the rings
*(Spoiler Alert)* I still remember crying when Thorin died, when I heard Bilbos cry. There's something about Middle Earth I will always love, and long to be in.
I cry to
I want to help, I don't find this part of the movie

How could you ever hate this song!? The harmonies alone send shivers up my spine & you can SEE the dwarves singing this in a cavern vault!
This makes me wanna go on an epic journey, dammit.
Me too
Oh yeah
J Lawhon simple, go outside, grab a big stick, walk to the bottom of your street. Now walk back to your house. That's a jounery
then play skyrim
this is not a Journey at all... no trolls or dragon at least...
My beard grew a beard
That you braided and tied to your first beard
Me
But you have no beard 😂
bro you is beardless
You have a baby face in your profile picture.
It sends chills down my spine every time I hear this song
When you watch the movie for the first time, with all
the comically nonsensical circus that the Dwarves
make in Bilbo's house...and then suddenly - this song hits.
At that moment you know, that something truly epic is
about to unfold, and there is nothing you'd want more
than seeing it happen.
the movies suck ass tho, it couldve been so good but they just wanted money and dragged it out for 3 movies when the stories only 200 pages long. they had everything, good actors, good visuals, great writing, it couldve been so good if they just made it one film
@@upisntdownsillyyeah but honestly despite it all, they managed to be decent movies. I think we should celebrate that
Far over the Misty Mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To find our long forgotten gold
The pines were roaring on the height
The winds were moaning in the night
The fire was red, it flaming spread
The trees like torches blazed with light
Far over the Misty Mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To find our long forgotten gold
The pines were roaring on the height
The winds were moaning in the night

+Lewie895 Thank you, Sir!
Thank u I love it when ppl do that
+Lewie895 The actual is much longer in the book!
***** yeah i know
Thank you Peter Jackson for making the best movies of all time, from the best books ever written.
Yochanan TrueBiblicalChristianblog No disrespect, but the Hobbit is much much more interesting and fun to read than the bible.
i totally agree! Metayounis
Im not in with that.
our awesome new zelander directer #proudtobeakiwi
overrated...
The Hobbit trilogy may not be as elaborate as the LOTR trilogy, but there is a lot that anyone who saw it will never forget.
I listen to this whenever I'm stressed out:))
I feel like I'm the only person who wanted to sit through 27 verses of this in the movie.
nah id be happy to
Disappointed when I didn't,
they shortened it for casuals
your not the only one
they should've released that version anyway
LOTR and the Hobbit will always hold such a special place in my heart, still my favourite movies to this day
Same
The Loyalty, the Courage, the Love and Wisdom of dwarfs, Dunedain, Rohirrim, elves, Hobbits, Istari have filled my heart. Lord of the Rings teached me many ways to view the World and im grateful for that
Can't say I agree with the Hobbit trilogy I hated them, but the LotR trilogy is the best.
The only sad part is Tolkien didn't get to see them.
Jeremy Ramsey I agree 😢
In every epic instrumental soundtrack, the one song with lyrics is always one of the best.
It dosent matter if you watched the movies or not, loved or hated, The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit
trilogies have the most masterpiece song ever made.
Agree 👍
Thorin: wanna slay a dragon
Bilbo: No!! What kind of question is that!
Thorin: what if we add some music.
Bilbo: *perhaps*
Grrr

2023, at 23:23 o’clock , listening to this song gives me chills every time. The haunting melody and powerful vocals transport me to a world of adventure and mystery. It's incredible how music can evoke such strong emotions and make us feel like we're part of an epic journey. This song truly captures the essence of Tolkien's Middle-earth. Who else can't help but imagine themselves wandering through the misty mountains while listening to this masterpiece? Pure magic
as you know probably in the meantime that 23 in numerology and 2323 in angel numbers is a very powerful number
Yeah that's not a thing. Just be grateful to enjoy such beautiful music without mucking it up with nonsense
@@Sigusen Yeah that is a thing. Just be grateful that you can listen to this music and have people that are still normal and have emotions, unlike you who became a toxic, hollow person. Just get out of here, do everyone and yourself a favor, since you do not want to see these comments anyway, right?
I played this for my 18 month old son. He quickly grew a beard and now pays the mortgage.
Never get tired of this movie and its music. I want another trilogy :((.
+matthew swigert book? :')
Oh yeah
hope to see The Silmarillion movies

***** Nope. In the Book (Which is the 7th verse of the song in Hobbit) It's "moaning".
My absolute favorite song. Hits my soul with a KNOCK OUT.
Think I'll listen to this even when I'm 60+, given that I'm still alive... I'm 30 now!!. Have listen to this for like 10 years
This is my daughter's lullaby. I just have to sing it now and she falls asleep. I knew if I ever became a father, this would be the song I sing.

gonna remember
It doesn't seem like this was 3 years ago, it feels like it came out a few months ago.

FOUR years ago at this point. Time is a cruel bitch.

remember it back in high school when watching it on cinema, feels like the most happy reunion with lotr universe
This song speaks to many of you for a reason, and Tolkien knows this reason.

Yep.
And I don't want anything to happen, I just want to see them do normal stuff like making sandwiches and going on walks etc.
Well there is a lot of LotR that the movies haven't touched yet. It all depends on if Tolkien's family wants to allow people to continue the franchise via movie or finishing his unfinished works.
Someday we will hopefully get The Silmarillion Trilogy !
10 years ago, watched this movie and heard the song for the first time, 10 years after, watched it again now. Got so many chills and tears... I wish I could go back to my childhood
This always sends me shivers across the spine. Love it!
I think the scene here is better than any of the scenes in the last two movies, except maybe the Smaug sections.

People may hate the Hobbit movies, but I love them with all my heart.
They must all be those orchs trying to take the franchise again
It was the damn barrel scene
@@plaguedeath3013 That was awesome.
The barrel scene was great except the go pro parts.

I love this song. It’s soothing to my ears, so calm so relaxing as if am in the mountain, praying
Tolkin is the best writer ever. I miss him...
Maybe it's just me, but my favorite Hobbit movie is the first one.
+RunRobotRun911 It's truest to the book; right before I watched it I read the book, and most of the dialogue was identical.
+RunRobotRun911 I haven't read the book(yet) but the first movie was definitely the best of the three, and this scene was probably the best scene in the movie. Except the part where Bilbo and Gollum meet, that was pretty neat.
+RunRobotRun911 it's just you
The whole trilogy is average despite production costs. Peter Jackson was just too tired to do it proprely. I feel like the only one who properly gave 120% was Evangeline Lilly
+RunRobotRun911 It has the most actual story in it. I get it, I agree.
I still think 2 movies would have easily done the trick.
*****
Exactly. Could'nt have said it better.
