I had the great fortune of spending quite a lot of time on this island and specifically in Lacco Ameno until my mother's death in 2014. This review was lovey and melancholic for me as it reminded me of the lovely times spent with my mother on the most idyllic place on earth. Thank you so much for sharing this little piece of heaven on earth with us. To be honest, I did weep while watching this.

I've stayed on the island as a guest in a private residence and toured the island and specifically recall seeing this hotel and being smitten by the location and it's cutting edge location to the sea. The road above the hotel allowed this view. Now to see what was below was fabulous.

I have recently discovered your channel and I have enjoyed very much your trips around Italy. Even though I am not able to travel there, feels like if I had been there.
the suite is smaller than I expected but lovely anyway, ashtray & matches are rare in rooms these days. Nocturnal piano playing divine, champagne for breakfast even better. I lived in Sorrento for a year in 1979 & this brought back so many memories...
Please remember that this is a historic building, and to not disturb that, rooms are sometimes smaller as to not disturb their integrity. I'm curious as to why you took the aliscafo ( Jetboat) from Napoli Porto to Ischia Porto and not from Mergellina directly to Lacco? Whenever I took the car over or back, I would catch the ferry boat from Pozzouli, which by the way is where I spent the first two years of my life.
Hello my friend. Haven't commented in awhile. I am comment as I watch. The view from the ferry ride of Mt. Vesuvius and the islands are breath taking. The road leading up to the hotel has a couple of nice pick-ah-boo shots of the sea below. I love the sofas (crushed velvet) and the art. Seems to be a nice size property and I like that it is on several levels. What an amazing view, when you turned the corner from the tower and the pool area comes into view. The lounge when you enter the watch tower, almost remind me of Morocco (the high ceiling and chandelier), but santorini too (with the white sofas and walls). The art work is very nice. The mirror in the hall reminds me of home. You had an amazing view from your suite. The spa looks to be somewhat large as well. Lovely sunset and views of the resort at dusk into night. Chandelier and the food looks to be nice and Italian rustic, not to fussy, which I like. Interesting painting of Jesus on the neon lit cross. The breakfast buffet is nice and intimate with the added touch of Prosecco on ice. Nice Andy Warhol paints too. Hmmm, correction..... it looks to be quiet large. Love that area! Thanks for the great video.

Hoi LTE! What a great video/review of this very nice hotel. The views and setting are simply beautiful! The suite looks prettig nice as well, albeit a bit small (guess that is a European thing though). The terrace that comes with the suite isn’t very private, kind of weird tbh Groetjes, Brendan

The light turquoise colors in the dining area would be perfect for the beach towels. Please let us know when there are Vegan and Vegetarian 🌱 options, especially for lunch and dinner and non dairy milk for breakfast.
My roommate and I have been laid out completely by the flu. Constant wheezing, coughing, choking. For a week now. It's exhausting. So the sight of the thermal pools just about made me cry. Showering is very scary right now, as I tend to wobble and list when I stand or walk. But, oh, to just slide into a warm steamy pool and curl up... The Greeks sure knew how to pick a future resort sight. Now if Volcano Day can be avoided.
Beautiful video, many thanks! I love hotels which fit into their surroundings with such care and elegance. The art around the hotel wasn't to my liking, especially the ones during brunch. I'm guessing they felt the need to contrast the traditional with the modern, but sometimes traditional will do just fine. No drone this time?
I visited this hotel before I bought the drone. In the coming weeks, you'll see some hotel reviews with drone, some without. I have a special 'drone treat' though coming in April: a 4K drone clip of my favorite hotel in the world, Soneva Kiri.
Hey mr. Luxury travel. Love your reviews on both hotels and fights, but would you mind turning down the background music. I love the relaxing music, but it dosent make you relax when it's so loud. Sometimes youd just rather wanna listen to the natural sounds. Just some small improvements to your nice channel.
Another fine job, Mr.LTE. however...... whoever did the interior design should head back to school. Awful mishmash of styles. Let alone artwork that would put anyone off their feed. Too bad. And outside wasn't much better.... About 100 too many loungers! It's a mess. You, sir, are very much the gentleman and always kind with your comments. I should probably try that sometime.... 😗. And, as long as I'm ripping this place apart, IMHO, the only thing that should be in the basement is the basement ... However the view of the bay and the lovely boats was quite nice. I did like the piano music... 🎶 I also noticed no welcome gift😟. You should always get a welcome gift ( again, IMHO, as soon as they see the red suitcase come through their front door, they should spring into action! ) Alright, I'm finished complaining for now....lol!! Keep up the great work!
Beauty of nature , piano music, lovely pools but the ugly modern paintings and furniture don't fit to this magnificent place at all... what a shame...🤔
This hotel is too cheap to get small vehicles to give a person a ride with their luggage to the front door! Many find walking difficult. The food does not impress me as in other places where you went. No way, no how.

Never visit Italy in july and above all august. If you can, visit it in the second half of september. You'll enjoy it really.
