Let’s share the bird’s eye view of the lost ancient dynastic kingdom called Guge (lost in the mid 9th century), which is located in Ngari (A’Li) prefecture. Tholing and Tsaparang are two ancient capitals of Guge. At that time the kingdom was one of the most active places for trading, political and religious centers in the region as well. After a series of unsuccessful wars with a neighboring place called Ladakh, Guge lost its power and gradually thousands of people also left the place as well. However, still, Tsaparang and Tholing ruins can be seen today and now this becomes the highlights of the region. You won’t believe how interesting these places were once and unless you pay a visit to the place. Now you’ll find these places with the name Zada or Tada or Zanda county.
