Did you hear about the errors on parts 3, 9, X and I think part 1? Part 3 has an error with the 3d title credit not popping out as it should or something. Part 9 has the worst one, there's a gory arm break completely removed in the unrated version. Part X has audio removed from the sleeping bag kills, screams are gone. Part 1 I think has an audio track removed. Shout Factory said they're looking into it. I'm in Ireland so I doubt I'll be able to get the replacement discs. Gutted.

What a beautiful boxset. If I didn't own the old boxset I would probably pick this up. They did an amazing job with the individual cases replicating the old vhs tape artwork. Great unboxing!!

I've been hearing about all the mistakes and while I am disappointed that there are mistakes, I am not surprised by them. Scream Factory has a history of releasing media with mistakes in them. I remember the Army of Darkness 3 disc set, they had to replace 2 of the 3 discs. I guess I'm amused that the company didn't take more time to make sure there were no mistakes. Anyways, It is always good to see a video from you. Especially, one about a film series that you and I share a common love for. Have a good one and until the next time.
Great vid & u boxing! I picked this up from Shout. I couldn’t pass up those gorgeous posters. My fav in the franchise would have to be between parts 2, 4, and 6. Those seem to be a lot of fun. Yeah I sure hope they get a disc replacement program going soon for the goof ups. Take care!

FYI the spines on the reverse of the later ones have the original fonts rather than uniform if people wanna switch it up.
Amazing boxset Todd. Sorry I couldn't answer you earlier because I had to go to college and study hard and maybe I'll see you again for Christmas. Anyway, this boxset completes every fan's collection. Hopefully to buy The Omen boxset Blu-ray by Scream Factory and hopefully to see a similar boxset on A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise by Scream Factory.
I got the set and pretty happy with it. The problems with some of the discs as mentioned will hopefully be resolved. I’m not too bothered by the problems because I don’t have 3D capability, will probably never watch Jason Goes to Hell and the Jason X thing I can live with. Disappointing that Shout Factory’s QC missed these things but overall I’m still happy to have this in my collection.
I really want that Halloween set. I was a broke kid when they released it and I hate how much people are trying to sell them for. At least I have the first 3 to watch. Can’t wait for my Friday set to arrive. I only payed 116 for it through deep discount. For that cheap waiting this long is kinda worth it.

Todd, I enjoyed the video. I got the set a couple of days ago, but I enjoy your insights into the set. Why did you have two of them? I thought the design of the set and the art used were great. We will see how Scream Factory addresses the problems with the set. My set arrived in pristine shape, all of the appropriate discs and no scratches. My favorite horror series is Romero's zombie movies.

I’ve seen a lot of people on Facebook that have missing films, doubles and the book missing. Email shout factory with a picture of your set and they will send you the missing items.
That’s horrible. Sorry to hear that. Like catdrums said, contact shout ASAP so they can fix their fuck up. That would make me mad. Sorry that happened to you.
I may order ps5 already then when it's comes out in 19 day next month, this is release day in my country, my budget start to be enough but is only yet little bit save money, not anymore a lot

Hi Todd. As well as the errors that have been pointed out, a number of people are reporting scratches on various discs.
Ugh....I hope Scream Factory learns from this debacle.
