I knew the L’Oréal fresh wear was going to win from the start. I live in Las Vegas and I swear by that foundation in this 115 degree heat we have here. I’ve even worn it to the airport when I’ve actually been stuck having to wear it for 24hrs and it still looked great. I’ve gone thru at least 4 bottles. I also love the L’Oréal true match and the L’Oréal serum foundations. L’Oréal kills it imo w their foundations❤
What's the difference between the fresh wear and the true match? Does one provide more coverage?
Does the new true match also have fragrance?
I’m in West Texas and it’s 112° here this week. Horrible. And yes, the L’Oréal Infallible works well.

I have really dry skin and love the Catrice HD foundation. I just moisturize really well and it does fine for me. I wore Estée Lauder Double Wear to my son’s wedding and it didn’t let me down.
That was well researched! Sometimes I find that it's not so much how a foundation wears on it's own but also how it wears with what you put under and on top. There are so many good ones though... You rocked this video!
My faves are the Catrice TrueSkin, the LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation, and the new-ish ONE/SIZE BBB cream. I have oily skin and all of these work so well for me.
For me Estée Lauder Double Wear will always be my one and only ❤

I absolutely agree with you on every single one of these. I actually think the Catrice HD foundation is more like Estee Lauder Double Wear, even though the Hydrating one is most often called a dupe.

Thank you Taylor for this outstanding series! So creatively done. I have been on the hunt for a new foundation since Covergirl discontinued my beloved Stay Fabulous foundation. I just landed on my new fave L’Oreal fresh wear as you ran your short on it! I purchased it after liking the L’Oreal true match...until it fell apart under humidity. The Freshwear is almost as good as the Stay Fabulous for my skin. Looking forward to your next series!

I swear by the revlon colorstay in combo/oily skin. That’s the key part is it has to be that version. It doesn’t break up on me and stays on very well even in 110+ degree heat in a California desert. it also lasts through subtropical humidity very well too. I wear it to all events especially if I’m drinking and dancing like at a wedding all night and don’t want to look like a sloppy oil slick it keeps me looking fresh as a daisy.
I sooo love that L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear won with your review .. the one with 32H +Vitamin C in it, is my ultimate favorite foundation that i have EVER used. I love applying it with my fingertips and then with a damp sponge. This foundation lasts all day on me and does not crease under my eyes or settle in any lines. Thank you sooo much for the review, I love watching your videos.❤❤❤

Wow! This was an amazing endeavor and a great video. You're not alone, the wet and wild photophocus irritated my skin badly, I couldn't even wear it for 5 minutes. This is PERFECT timing 😊. I have an outdoor wedding here in Ontario Canada in July and Ive been doing my own “foundation wear tests” over the last few weeks. I am a makeup lover at heart with foundations, lipsticks and blushes being my “ weakness” 🙈. I have 36 foundations 😬😅 and I don’t do CZcams heeheehee- I just love makeup and skincare!
I have several of the ones you tested but not your number 1 lol. Haus Labs is a favourite overall( I have normal to dry mature skin) and it’s been winning so far in terms of longevity. But an even more winning combo was mixing my Haus Labs with my beloved Too Faced Born This Way - and chefs kiss perfection! I did my daughter’s makeup a few weeks ago for a wedding she was going to and it looked fantastic and lasted the entire time and looked fabulous in photos.
Playing with makeup and dabbling in applying makeup for friends and family brings me so much joy!

Try Covergirl BB Cream for oily skin. Great weight, coverage, natural, and no shine all day in humid Maryland. Great for older women. I put cream blush and light powder over it. I too, have tried them all.
ELDW gets me through my double shift 13 hour days. Revlon never lasted past five for me. I loved Catrice HD but it oxidizes on me lately. But for day to day, Wet n Wild works and my new favorite, Loreal True Match (not the serum one). I'm 55 and have tried them all!

Omg! Impressive review! Too many foundations on the market are way too warm toned for me. I reached for my faithful covergirl + olay 3 in 1 in buff beige yesterday in 110 degree Arizona heat! It actually stayed put with only minimal shine from the heat.
Actually , the dry heat here bakes on our foundation--no primers or setting sprays needed😂

I have tried all the Catrice foundations and none of them have worked out.
Out of drugstore Loreal and Revlon are my favorites. The Neutrogena serum foundation is really good.

L'Oreal Infallible has been my go to summer foundation for years.
My oily skin loves Catrice liquid HD. I still have to set because Im that oily, but it is my fav. Can't beat the price, easy to apply. I choose it over Double Wear!
Infallible is my holy grail! I wear it lightly with a sponge everyday. For long wear coverage I use with a brush and lightly set with fit me powder. Nothing I've tried gives me such quality results.

I KNEW IT!!!! I was waiting for you to say Infallible. It is the absolute best. Rain, heat, snow, sleete, it does not move. You put it on in the morning & what you see at five pm is exactly the same. And it’s beautiful, the finish is flawless.

I’ve been using the L’Oreal Infallible myself but wanted something better for my oily T-zone. I bought the Maybelline Fit Me, Matte and Poreless, so far so good. Give it a try. 😊
Loreal fresh wear is my all time favorite too! I occasionally try new ones and it's pointless because I go right back. And side note: When I want my make up to look extra nice and last a long time, I miss the Fresh wear and the Profusion! It looks beautiful!
This was great :). I think you should do the same for concealers & powder foundation. In summer its too hot for foundation. I always just spot conceal and use powder foundation on top for coverage. I use the Nars Creamy concealer, and it does pretty well longevity wise. The Huda luminous Matte concealer is better than the Nars (offers just as much coverage but its a better formula), but it breaks me out, so Nars it is.
I am so glad you did this showdown. I’m looking for a new summer foundation and this was right on time. L’Oréal here I come! As I haven’t tried it yet.
Tarte shape tape foundation is the best for me when I need my foundation to last a long time. I have dry skin so I prep my skin really good because it’s matte but looks great on my skin. Buying the infallible the infallible this weekend 😊

I love the Catrice foundations. The HD still looks great on me, after 18 holes of golf in the heat. I'm 53, and it's hard to look good outdoors, with my dry skin, in the heat.
I just got the Estée Lauder foundation with 6 Items for 60. 00 at the Cosmetic Company . For me Estée Lauder the color is perfect for me I can find a shade match exactly like 3c2
Love your in depth review! It's so interesting to see what works for different people with different skin types. I love how light the Loreal Fresh Wear feels on my skin. Unfortunately it doesn't last on me because my skin is really oily. Didn't hold up in 95° weather. I give it a 7/10.

I am 59 and have worn Estée Lauder DW since the late 80s i have tried so many other foundations nothing compares i bought the L’Oréal today we will see …. Estée Lauder DW is not a full coverage foundation depending on how you apply it after all these years it is still a beautiful foundation

Great video! ☺️ Ive been using the loreal infallible for years and its great, however I find that it lifts very easily for example when I wear sunglasses/glasses or even masks and take it off, the foundation lifts off. (I do use setting powder and setting spray). Can you share what can be done to help with this? Thanks again, love your comprehensive videos, always very helpful! ☺️
For me the winner is Fenty's soft matte longwear foundation. I have oily skin, live in miami and work retail. I got tired of all my drugstore foundations breaking up at 5h so I finally caved and decided to try a high end one. It looked so good that I almost started crying when I saw my face at the end of the day. I thought it wasn't possible for me to wear makeup that could last the whole day. That thing is pure miracle for oily skin! From your list I tried maybelline superstay, Catrice true skin, Milani conceal and perfect, Revlon colorstay, Wet n wild photofocus and loreal fresh wear. I wore the wet n wild and loreal ones for years before finally caving and buying the fenty one.

I was actually using the Wet n Wild for everyday and it does well on me. Decided to switch it up when empty & go back to the L'Oreal true match you showed. Do love that. I'd actually bought the profusion one quite a while ago & don't remember being too impressed! Gonna pull it out & try again. As far as the Haus labs one, LOVED it!! I tried a few different ones in Sephora a bit ago bc it had been a while and new ones were out. My only disappointment was there's hardly any in stock in the store & I'm not usually into ordering too much. Might just have to bite the bullet and go ahead and order. Lol Funny, I was 1 away from the end and had wondered about the infallible? I was in love with the matte version years back when I liked that finish. But now older I do like them Dewey. So I'd pu the glow version and do like it. Guess I'll also pu another.. ❤ Thx for the research, very helpful!

I like the Catrice True Skin, but I have to be careful which sunscreen I use with it. I also have to mix it with a little moisturizer, but when I do that, it lasts well. I also love One/Size balm, it’s my summer color, though. My skin is mostly normal. I enjoyed this series so much and caught most of your shorts!

I usually don't wear foundation for more than 8 hrs but the Catrice True Skin's one of my favorites for longevity... a few weeks ago Emily Noel uploaded a video of the best long wear products and her winner foundation was the Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear (the one with the red cap) maybe that'd be another affordable option 😉... thnx for the recommendations, have a wonderful weekend! 🤗

Have you tried Nars light reflection foundation? I'm 54 years old I stopped using the Estee Lauder Double Wear even though my skin is oily/combo and I live in south Texas because the Double Wear was starting to get to cakey looking on my skin , it's just too heavy for me, the Urban Decay Stay Naked was definitely more flattering it covered my large pores, but Sephora stopped selling it so I switched to the Nars which is a little more but it looks good as well. Heavy foundation in this 100 degree heat is not a good look.
The Hard Candy is my favorite foundation. I’m so surprised it didn’t work out. It’s the one brand with a light olive shade. It’s a perfect match for me.
Have you tried the Rimmel 25 HR lasting finish in true ivory? First time I found something close to my undertone light enough in a drug store foundation, and it wears nicely on my skin type.
I only recently started using the loreal infallible freshwear and I love it! Also,the Lancome teint idol ultra wear is very food and long-lasting on my combo skin.
Have you tried lumi? I'm conflicted on buying it, and also I have combo skin/sensitive.
Can't pick between freshwear or lumi because I loved their compact one that they discontinued years ago.

I immediately returned this because of the scent. Usually I can get past fragrance, but I noticed this one throughout the day and it was a big no from me.
Same. And they added fragrance to the Infallible Powder Foundation. That was disappointing.
I adore Catrice HD, L'Oreal serum and Double Wear, but I hate L'Oreal Infalliable Fresh Wear. I feel I am the only one with the extremely bad experience with that one. On my face every other foundation stays better than that one, that melts and peals from my face every time I wear it. At the end of the day it just disappears, and left me with shinny mess on my face. I wanted to love it so badly since everyone swears on it, and I found a great shade match, but it just doesn't work for me. :(
